The one item I wanted more than any other at SDCC finally arrived yesterday from Neca Club. It even gave me a scare on the way, as for several days, UPS was unable to track it and figure out where it was!

My only gripe that I wish the paints would have been a little more muted on Pamela like they were in the production shots, and the transition of paints from Jason's head to his body could be better painted and matched, but the likeness is spot on. It's amazing that although these are smaller and less expensive than Sideshow's higher end media, Neca is killing them by nailing the accuracy in the little details. Super excited to finally have this.

I spotted a couple of that set at TRU back when I got Ambush Predator. It is a terrific looking bundle for those seeking it, granted it's a little overpriced.

I didn't think it was two badly priced considering that it included two figures, one of them being entirely new on a brand new buck. The Mego style figures tend to average somewhere between 20 and 30 bucks depending where you shop, and with the added notion of it being a con exclusive made the set seem a little more justifiable. In addition, this set in particular was going for some insane prices (BBTS wanted 100 bucks for it!) so I feel really fortunate to have found it.

About the only other thing I could have asked for out of it is (SPOILER ALERT!) The machete that Alice beheads Pamela with, and a removable head.

Star Wars Hero Series X-Wing Fighter. I know I've said that i refuse to buy an X-Wing that won't open it's wings to be an actual X, but for $15 on clearance....I think it deserves a chance. I am thinking of hanging it up for just a display, not for play

Thought about buying some Little Armory guns for Snake but they
are so expensive, decided on getting the Resaurus accesory pack that
came some years ago. Plenty of compatible guns and accessories like
maps, grenades, sniper rifle and bullet proof vest. Also, my first Predator!

Some of my latest! Here's to hoping that Force Friday is worth a damn. I am skeptical however I'm starting to get pumped!!!
