Go back to the post that I was originally asking you about. I've made Ant Man, the Vision, Giant man, the 4th, 9th and 12th Doctors in my entire customizing "career." Are you SURE that you were replying to the right person?

I absolutely hate Stryfe as a character, but you've inspired me to give him a figure. :) Don't think he'll make the next batch as I have to gather the parts I want to use, but I've got some ideas I want to try after looking him up again.

Universe 03-04-2016 06:37 PM

Mordiganne, wow!!

That gambit and silver sable; excellent job retooling and painting those up. That Luke looks great with the yellow T-shirt.

Thanks! Glad you enjoy them. The cell's flash washes out a lot of the detail and it's just not good for small scale photography, so I'll use my regular camera starting with the next batch.

Have a huge list of characters I want to make, just have to get the parts.

Universe 03-04-2016 07:29 PM

You may want to consider a tilt-lamp or a few small lights you can get at walgreens; avoid flash from cell's because yeah they are just too bright to get the intricate details. I didn't even notice the Madame hydra; excellent as well!

UrsaMagnus 03-04-2016 07:50 PM

That Silver Sable and Luke Cage are gorgeous. I wish they would have given Luke that shirt to begin with.

Thanks! He's a character I created WAY back when I was in high school in the 80s.

Yes... I'm old.

Pilk did an OUTSTANDING job on him! I couldn't be happier.

I've not seen that done before but I have seen someone use the wings from the first falcon and the back pack of the movie falcon and put them on the back of the falcon cap which looked really good

Me too, but nothing could motivate me to make one.

She's worth it in that she's likely the only representation of the character that Hasbro is going to make.

Aside from that, she's an acceptable figure, but not by far anything spectacular.

I agree with UrsaMagnus. I paid a little less than that, and don't regret it, but the figure isn't likely to 'wow' you any more than the other Thor movie figures did. The weapons are soft rubbery pieces of crap, so be ready to give her a different sword. I'm just going to make a custom Heimdall as vort has a great head for sale and there's no chance I'm paying the secondary prices he fetches for another runty Thor movie figure.

That's a very, very sharp looking figure he made you. So, what's the character's powers/abilities? Just wondering. :)

Thanks. I enjoyed making her head mods the most. The crappy cell pic didn't capture the detail, but here's a shot of the head before I cleaned it up.
