Some appreciation.

I couldn't quite get my angles or poses right, but it'll have to do for tonight.

Love the X-Force set up Skywarrped! Is that a custom archangel? I'm in the market for one of those, really can't afford an SDCC one

Don't know why you would think that. The past 4-5 months I've seen probably dozens of people on here that would fit that bill.

Thanks, no it's the real deal. I was lucky and acquired him in a trade for a good price close to the original subscription price.

Lucky man! I thought the SDCC exclusive was more shinier than that. It could just be my eyes, it's 3:30am here in the UK.

Ah, that's the legends figure you're thinking about. The wings were definitely much shinier on that one. The one above is the subscription figure from a couple years ago.

It's too much stuff to think about to be honest. xD

I'm surprised they haven't gone mad by now, or whoever is handling MU might be seeing how long it takes before he or she does.

spidey and the gang must be hangin' out at luke cage's house. i see his clothes hanging out to dry.

....ummm ... lets lighten things up a bit...

Working on a new display for my 3 3/4" figures, I still have to make risers for the bottom 2 shelves, but if I did my math right I should be able to fit 140 figures per shelf with the top shelf reserved for larger figures like BAFs etc.

It's kind of a crappy pic, but you can get the gist of it.

Gonna need to order quite a few stands from SmallJoes, but now I can start going through totes and opening up some of this MOSC/MISB figures that I haven't been able to (for lack of display space).

Heroes for hire have not been hired in a while. No coin for the laundr-a-matic!

Cleaned up the last couple of pages of posts.

Rattrap Primal 01-30-2013 08:24 PM

I hope they didn't cancel Deaths Head, (though a 6 inch version would be great for Transformers yes?)

track shelving rules. my entire collection sits on the same type of system.

PROVOST 01-30-2013 08:49 PM

On the subject of feedback from other sites it's quite acceptable to offer them as "credentials" if one is new to a site.

I have feedback on a few sites and have cited them not only here but other forums etc

I've done so so that if there's no feedback established as yet (at the time) on the forum in question that potential buyer/sellers/traders can see I am not a totally unknown person to the collecting community.

Most collectors in forums use the same name across all forums so that makes it that much easier to speak with those they've dealt with before if there's doubts.

*shrugs*

I've never used anything other than track shelving. :) I've never understood using those large L-Brackets for mounting shelves, aesthetically they're kind of an eye-sore, and track shelving is so much easier to adjust if you need to raise or lower a shelf because of changes in your display. Price wise their not that different either. I mainly collect Transformers, who come in a variety of sizes, so the need to adjust shelving is something that I have to deal with all the time, so no offense to anyone who uses L-Brackets, its just my personal opinion...and not really worth a damn anyway lol. :)

I love that Anti-Venom set! I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. It was scanned though an International Sort Facility in Los Angeles on the 24th, hopefully it'll get here sometime this week.

On the subject of using the same name on different forums, and the Anti-Venom set... I just (as in minutes before reading this) came across a post by a Provost that I'm assuming is you on mucollectorclub. I was looking for an in-package pic of the set and came across it. Can you clarify what the retail price was on this set? I was under the impression that it was $30 AUD, but the pic you posted had it as $25 AUD, just curious.

PROVOST 01-30-2013 10:03 PM

They were reduced down from $30 AUD here to $25 AUD.

Cool, thanks! I'm curating a catalog/check list on ShelfLife for these and couldn't find any definite confirmation on the retail price.

The guy I got mine from said they were marked down to $15 AUD in his area, so sounds like I got a better deal than I thought. :)

Yeah, the prices may vary and if I am right the guy whom you got yours off of is in a state on the other side of the country.

strongchad 01-30-2013 10:29 PM

Awww...Ron Burgandy doesn't love MU either I guess.
