CCC.

Head is not a bad call. Those Walmart girl heads are huge. They don't work on many bodies.

Yeah that's a nice team.

FINALLY my area has the new ML 3.75" stuff in stock! I didn't get to pick up much since I'm trying to save money for New Jersey Collectors Con which is on April 2 for those interested. I got the Iron Man v Machine Man 2 pack. Both figures were really nice. The sleek and clean look of the superior suit was awesome, and Machine Man just has this weird appeal to him. Plus. his arms are badass. All the colors kind of screamed "futuristic" if you know what I mean.

I like Machine Man, but I can't shake the feeling that if he had been a 6 inch figure we would have gotten the Nextwave head as a pack in.

Just picked up the machine man pack at target. Got lucky and a customer couldn't give me a cash tip so they tipped with a target card and it was exact price for the pack. :)

Wait, somebody tipped you with a gift card? That's kinda weird but at least it had value on it, I don't think I would've accepted a gift card with no concrete proof of its worth but that's me. My Wal-Mart and TRU have had the new comic packs for a little bit now and it's safe to say that here none of them are hot sellers, no love for the She-Thor or the Falcon-Cap in these parts apparently. I kind of want to get the Falcon-Cap and Vance Astro pack but every one I've seen has some paint mishap on the Falcon-Cap and I can't get over how cheap it is that his arms and legs are straight up the exact same arms and legs as the Captain America with motorcycle pack.

It was a nice older couple that felt bad about not having the cash for a tip and it didn't matter to me either way but since I was headed to target either way I accepted it. I've seen plenty of the packs but only she Thor once. Sadly it was on my broke after I paid my bills. Two more weeks and I'm back to regular full time work and out of the food game hopefully forever. I noticed the same thing about the caps. It's not surprising but it makes me wish for the days when comic and movie figs used all different parts.

P.s. who's the villians in the pack x51 or iron man??

I don't think either is technically, comic packs ditched the consistent hero and villain theme a long time ago in favor of just two characters regardless of allegiance. I mean neither Thor nor Thor is the villain of that pack and both Vance and Falcap are total good guys so you could roll with no bad guy for any of these sets. That being said Iron Man was a total dick (way more than usual) when he was the Superior Iron Man so I guess you could call Iron Man the bad guy in this set.

I only asked because the back of the pack claimed one was a villian

Really now?! That's odd but I guess they mean Iron Man since his Superior persona was only the result of the AXIS event which made good guys bad and bad guys good but at the end Tony shielded himself from the reset spell and stayed "Superior" so he's the villain I reckon.

Jay West 03-07-2016 06:26 PM

The recent Joe Gung Ho would make a good base for Nuke.

I've been trying to upload some pix of my customs all day, but the website has been finicky, so I'll just post my Crimson Commando and Sin Eater ones today and try again with some of the others later.

EDIT: Excuse the dust on Commando. :o

Universe 03-07-2016 07:25 PM

Welcome, Villano!

Wow I want to see more of those customs; they look really incredible!

Very nice! Deathbird is on my list but not going to get to her for a while. Thanks for the welcome.

They do, but you're definitely going to need to paint them. Warpath, Wolvie and Deadpool are from the gray 3-pack. I painted all the gray silver. Deadpool took forever and about a dozen coats.

Mordiganne 03-07-2016 07:39 PM

Nice work, Villano. The Crimson Commando is great!

Nice, I was planning on doing that too.

When odinson was wielding jarnbjorn only he was kind of an a hole while becoming worthy for mjolnir (in his youth). Later when he became unworthy again I still don't know what the heck nick fury whispered to him... Was that ever revealed?

The comic it comes with shows how much of an a hole stark becomes.

OK so being an ahole is enough for Hasbro to give the villians title to heroes. I feel like there's a joke there but I'll just sip my tea and wonder about all the articulation their figures have lost in recent years.

To be fair, during the AXIS story arc Stark really behaved like a supervillain.
