Oh god dammit, I just got an email from BBTS telling me the Spider-Man wave will be in in the next 10 days.

Awesome job, you had me with the boots and claws, but the arm hair puts it at another level.

The problem is I can't afford it until Dec 20th since that is when I get paid. It also doesn't help that the Spidey wave, Batgirl, Icons Accessory Pack 1, and Darkseid are all coming out this month.

Just cancel the pre-order and reorder it when you have the funds. I constantly pre-order and cancel my BBTS orders as sometimes I end up tracking them down in stores locally before the orders are filled, or because other priorities come up.

It shouldn't be too bad because it's a Spider-Man wave that you're ordering. Chances are, if you wait a week, it will most likely be there. The X-MEN wave was the only one in recent memory that I can remember people struggling to get online from a retailer like BBTS, and now outside of Deadpool and Wolverine, you can pretty much find them anywhere.

Lately, I've been ordering my cases from other retailers like Dorkside, or have been buying them off of eBay (when they are in hand.) While I love BBTS and their pile of loot system, prices on shipping have been skyrocketing as of late. I have actually been able to score better prices this way thanks to many sellers offering free shipping or allowing me to send an offer for these sorts of things.

Seeing as how my stores just started getting the Space Venom wave, I doubt I'm going to see this wave any time soon. Hell, we still don't have the Abomination wave yet.

Knowing my luck, it won't be.

I really hope we don't see the new X-Men wave until Feb.

i'm just speaking for me but the sooner on that one the better. Everything else after that can wait for whenever it comes out, but I'm honestly hoping the X-wave starts showing up to order before year's end.

I think Dorkside was saying the X-Men is projected in March so maybe early Feb at best. So I think you can relax on that one a bit. They said Spiderman(Sandman) and then GOTG,I think was next then X-Men are due up in that order.

I can't remember where but several places were saying Sandman, then Warlock then titus wave. But you could well be right.

Found the new spidy figures at wal mart today. My wallet is on life support.

Found Jackal last night at Walmart (Hendersonville for those in the area.) No signs of any of the other of the wave, but obviously got it in at some point. Pretty much, just going through all the standard glut on the pegs and I saw the side card and was like "Whoa!"

Pretty happy, that was on the one I was most looking forward to in the wave.

With his furry look, I wonder if he'll get repainted in a Beast or Dark Beast

I went back and forth on getting Shocker when I picked up Ms.Marvel and Jackal the other day- finally decided that the arm articulation (vs. the SpiderMan Classics version) made him worth grabbing. Glad I did- he's a pretty fun figure even if they didn't go the extra mile and give him etched padding...

I kind of think he will but I hope not. He's just not bulky enough for Beast.

A few part swaps and abomb could be dark beast. The cap brittain body with a lil part swapping and hair sculpting would be a better jim lee era beast.

I agree. That buck is amazing in the line is straddles between bulky and lean. It's perfect for your really muscular guy who is still not hulking.
