I've kinda been holding out on getting the ape soldier since my TRU has had like 8 of the two pack for the past several months and they weren't going anywhere. I figured that eventually they'd put them on clearance or mark them down and then when I go today not only have they cut the NECA section in half again but they just plain got rid of all of the excess stuff that wasn't considered new enough to sell so there weren't any apes figures whatsoever except for the TRU series 3 pack. Apparently they thought it better to just ship all of the soldier two packs off to some warehouse somewhere rather than give them a chance to sell at a reduced price.

I haven't been the biggest fan of prior "The Corps" sets, but some have been pretty decent. If I see the newest series, though, I have to snatch those up. That's a superb value for what you get.

Funny I was waiting on the same thing, when I saw them at my LCS for $8 I had to jump. I assumed target was going to release the blu Ray with the figure at retail but it was only online. That is odd your TRU did not clearance them first. Did you check those clearance bins? I've seen some super cheap marvel legends in those bins (minus the baf pieces).

My store always seems to have whatever was last season's toy in those clearance bins, like water guns from the Summer will be in those bins come Fall and so on. For a good long time my TRU had the Blu TF2 Heavy and Soldier and then one day they all vanished, when I asked someone they just said that they were shipped to some warehouse somewhere for online orders, except that these items were no longer listed on TRU's website so go figure. It's almost even worse that where the NECA stuff once was is now just a big damn wall of Funko stuff that doesn't sell, I've seen them put that stuff on clearance almost 5 times now and when it doesn't sell they just leave it on the shelf and get more anyway which clutters it even more but apparently NECA deserved to be booted more.

they are easy to find here, so keep your eyes peeled for them at your local Wal-Mart. I, however, can NOT find the 6" figures...YET.
I seriously doubt they will put the girls on single cards...those would sell TOO well.

But girl figures don't sell well. ;)

Just got home so I have not taken any pics yet to post. Both my Vishanti and Ant-Man were in large boxes with a bit of brown packing paper. Nothing great but better than I often get from Amazon nowadays.

Interestingly enough my mini Ant-Man was the first to ship and was flagged for delivery today. The Vishanti set shipped a day later and showed up with the Ant-Man set today. The mini got pushed back to an 8/8 delivery date...yay FedEx!

I'll keep checking sporadically but so far, every visit they've been sold out on the 3 packs or only have the older ones.

They better single pack them later. It's their habit anyway. Repaint madness! For those two figures I would not complain though. I have custom plans for those.

Beware Scorpion's chains begin to droop if left in "get over here" position. I would get that Pyramid Head if it weren't import pricey, but I have to once again wonder why they went with "Red Pyramid Thing" for its title. In game it is called Pyramid Head multiple times but only once is "red pyramid thing" used.

Hey while I was walking in the parking lot to my TRU yesterday somebody had that Star Wars sunshade on their car! It looks nice in person.

My HTS order came in a day early, and I am pretty unhappy about the way it was packaged and shipped. I think that all of the problems would have been solved if they put plastic wrap around the Vishanti box itself. That would have prevented any scrapes and marks. It also would have prevented some douchebag from selling a "MOC" set in a year from now.

Figures look great though, so that's all that matters.

I've also been wanting Steel for quite some time and finally decided to pull the trigger. He came from Ebay.
