In game it is called Pyramid Head multiple times but only once is "red pyramid thing" used.

I want one of those scorpions. I just hope when I get mine it doesn't droop and have projectile disfunction.

Gravity makes the problem but it's also capable of fixing it. It takes a good bit of time for the droop to start so he's fun to mess with and give those various "get over here" poses but when it comes to shelf display I just leave his arms aimed down like the chains are retracting or something.

And Arkkis Chummuk. Love the sculpt on this guy. Glad to have him in my corps!

Yeah, Scarecrow is a cool figure. In fact most of wave 17 is pretty nice and it's all Lantern related with Anti-Monitor as the CNC. It was one of the complete wave sets I bought a couple months back. Blue Lantern Flash is by far my favorite from the wave.

Hrm...pretty sure I still need to get that Arkkis. I really need to make a list of my Lanterns so I can avoid duplicates. I also highly recommend the CNC Kilowog. It's a great looking figure and stands in good scale to the others since Kilowog is supposed to be quite a bit bigger than the Earth Lanterns.. Raf just posted a pic with some of his Lanterns in the DC 6" thread that really shows it off well. Sadly the complete CNC goes for at least $50 and so does the John Stewart from the wave. Recommendation for anyone trying to find it is see if you can score a complete wave set for a reasonable price. It also happens to be the best DCUC John in my opinion.

FINALLY spotted Commander Doom today. There have been times when I spotted multiples of every other figure in that wave, and Doom was the only one missing.
I had been holding off on this Spidey until I found one with really good paint. Lol, since that is unlikely to happen, I snagged one with decent paint.

Also, I'm slowly adding to my PotA collection. I love this line so far, and I wish I hadn't waited so long to finally start buying these figures.

my only complaint with scorpion (besides the loose face plate) is that there's no sword storage. i would've loved it if they were able to be stored on his back.

you can store them on/in those belt strap things, but i would've preferred back storage.

as for the chains.. i've had him displayed with one ever since i got it (it's been a week or two) and i haven't noticed any sagging.

i've always been a huge fan of sub-zero and scorpion.. i'd love to see mezco produce a couple more iterations of each.

anyways, these figures are very nice, they just feel nice and solid. they're well detailed, and the quality just seems pretty great. they're leaps and bounds better than the jazwares versions.

zombombie 08-06-2015 11:58 PM

Thanks for the info on Scorpion En Sabah, I've got him posed on my shelf at the moment in a "get over here!" pose but I'll be sure to mix it up to avoid sagging.

@Kirathis Looking at the back of Scarecrow's packaging really made me want that wave. I probably won't be able to get all of them, but they are very nice. I actually found a Killowog, Arkillo, White Lantern Flash, Medphyll and NautKeLoi on a Facebook page. The guy was selling them all for a very reasonable price (only a little more than what Arkillo goes for alone on eBay) so I have those coming my way :)

You can put 'em on his back, they slot into his strap tips.

I think that all of the problems would have been solved if they put plastic wrap around the Vishanti box itself. That would have prevented any scrapes and marks. It also would have prevented some douchebag from selling a "MOC" set in a year from now.

Figures look great though, so that's all that matters.

Dang suppose to get mine today, hopefully it's ok and I actually get it today...thankfully Devastator is in a separate order altogether. Been hearing and seeing bad packing jobs on him.

Cool. Is that a Hasbro Joe Chimera without stickers, or a Chinese knock-off? And how much was that?

Todays finds

Went to a bunch of stores. Sadly I did not find what I was looking for but I did find a bunch of stuff I did not know was out yet.

Does anyone know why donatello always seems to be excluded? The T-machines sound cars do not even list a donatello on the back of the box. I also notice in the plush toy sets they include 3-4 of each turtle but only 2 donatello.

I got my antman and vishanti book from HTS. Little disappointed in the paint on the giant man and Goliath but it's better then not getting the set.
