Broward county, which is north of miami.. dude i've been living here my whole life, and summers here are so brutal, the heat makes you not want to leave your house or job during daylight.

Any questions??? Lol

you forget the humidity we get here ?? lol there have been day's i've been in my car going to work, or even just jumping into my car when it was lunch time and the temperature reading was 104 sometimes higher.

that humidity plays a big factor with how it makes it feel as well.

the old toybiz one looks ok but still too short.

that marvel showdown juggy is the one I currently have. he's pretty much the same size as the other MU big guys = too small.

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and get the legends one. a bit too big to fit in with MU but I'd rather have a juggy that's too big than too small.
he'll be the biggest figure in my collection.

Sorry it took so long...here's the Spider-Man Classics Juggernaut with MU Series 1 Spidey.

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...816_212059.jpg

For me personally this is my favorite Juggernaut, despite having limited articulation in the arms (he has swivel elbows, and since they are bulky, impeded the bend in them quite a bit.) The only other fault I have with him is that his helmet refuses to stay on and comes off very easily (despite fitting perfectly on his head.)

I still prefer the MU Juggernaut in my 3.75" collection as I feel he's about right, and I feel that the 6 inch scale legends are just a bit too big for my tastes. But in the end...it's to each his own right? Hopefully that helps a bit.

Additionally at higher temperatures it requires less humidity to create a muggy effect. 100 degrees with 60% humidity is going to be miserable compared to 80 degrees with 80% humidity. I don't see why there has developed some kind of "where I live it's harsher" contest here, can't we agree we're better off than California with its drought?

yeah, but when the temperature is in the 90's with almost 100% humidity.. it's worse than being 100 degrees with 60% humidity.

it's not like florida is 20 or more degrees lower than texas. once you hit the 90's.. it's just oppressive heat. add the higher humidity and i'd really hate to live in florida during the summer. now, year round i'd say florida is more reasonable.

Lol, very true...also, I'm happy here, I prefer the heat over cold temperatures. Like Superman, I need the sun to feel energized and powerful! Cold weather is my kryptonite.

looks to be about the same height as legends juggy who is 8". wish he was around 6.5-7", for me that would be the perfect juggy (and big guys for that matter). the x-men 3 one I believe is 7" but I hate that look.

thanks for the pics.

edit: here's 7" ang lee hulk next to multiverse supes. size wise I think he looks perfect.

Recent mail drops and pick ups!

Ordered from the States and arrived end of last week, glad to be able to add this to my SH Figuarts Mario collection

http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psaxddlgn8.jpg

Raiden completes the first series of MKX figures for me, very unlikely to pick up the variants and I'm not sure about getting any of the second series either.

And my loose Lanterns that I bought arrived. So great, love these guys.

Is that Yoshi with the 1-up bonus, just curious where you got it?

Got the Select Ant-Man in the mail today! Very pleased with it. It looks great and the articulation is good. The included small version looks particularly nice considering its size. I do find a base necessary to help my figure stand as the knees are a bit wobbly and the toes of the boots are too lifted to support him, since no base is included I am using a NECA base. I highly recommend the select Ant-Man to anybody who's interested, especially those like me who want a movie accurate figure for display.

zombombie 08-17-2015 02:48 PM

@KcKilla It's just the one up bonus - no Yoshi. This was given away with purchases at the Figuarts booth at comicon I think, and they've been selling on eBay since.

That head on a Legends body would be ideal for me! I really like that Select Ant-Man but he just doesn't scale with my collection!

Turns out Select Ant-Man wasn't the only toy I'd get today. I took a trip to Hastings and they had the new DC Super-Villains Joker. I was initially skeptical about getting this but when I saw it in hand I couldn't resist, the head sculpt and paint are fantastic. While I prefer the more colorful Joker looks the simple black and white works out pretty well with the Killing Joke-esque head. He scales better than I imagined he would for some reason, his legs have to be spread a bit to stand so it makes him shorter than he is. The Arkham Origins Joker in the picture is just for size comparison. While I prefer the Ant-Man toy this Joker is a very pleasant surprise.

I miss the antennae on Ant-Man's helmet.

Defzombie 08-17-2015 10:18 PM

Went to a TRU this weekend looking for joes. Didn't find jack.

I did however find a Gijoe KREO Doc for .98 cents and a custom lego 90s Cyclops for $4 at a store in the mall.

And as for the weather yes California is hot, and extremely dry. And when there is moisture it's just muggy with no rain
