Still no dice on Winter Soldier wave 2. Me and the Mrs went to about 8 stores total and called at least 10 other in San Diego.

All stores seem to stock is a ton of Superior & Amazing Spideys, World War 2 Caps (EVERYWHERE...Literally spilling off the racks..LOL), and occasionally a Baron Zemo or Red Skull.

We've been checking the websites for Target, Walmart & TRU maybe every few hours too.

I hope Hasbro makes up for it if the movie does well. I know how hesitant toy companies are to make too much toys and if the movie flops, the toys stays on shelves forever. But Winter Soldier looks great from the trailers.

I'm still bummed we're not getting a Marvel Legends Falcon. I like Diamond Select but they're too damn big sometimes.

I'm in the sd area too...no luck for me either for that cap 2 wave...i'm headed up to la and try to make a couple of trips to various targets and trus on the way up...

@anyone who knows tru at the back of their hands how long does it take for the avergae toy to be put no sale just thinking how long will it take for me to get ML's for like 2 for 1 or at 1/2 price ^_^

I went to 4 walmarts, 4 targets, 3 HEBs and a LCS NOBODY has black widow. I don't want to pay ebay price. At least I did find a decent Cap and Black Cat. If anybody out there has a Widow I would be ecstatic with all sorts of joy if you want to trade for a black cat. I don't even need the mandroid piece, just the rest.

I went on a similar trip today. 2 Targets (I raced one guy to the toy aisle. LOL), 3 Walmarts, 1 K-Mart, 1 TRU...had the people in the store check the barcode to see what was on on hand or nearby. This is impossible.

At this point I'm just hoping a site puts them up. No way I'm paying $60 or anything close to that. Maybe $30 at a local comic shop but that's not gonna happen for a while. Our local comic chains like Comics N Stuff always over charge.

Yeah, $60-$80 is crazy. I can't even rationalize it and I am pretty creative. $30 at LCS would hurt but I would do it. I saw a lot of other hunters out there sizing me up, it was pretty funny but My feet are killing me.

My LCS guy told me the wait is longer still for Cap wave 2 and Spidey wave 2, geesh!! That with the GoT figs, SWB wave 3 and PAK variant Flash also ordered, I have the worst feeling they will all arrive at once! As the gf says 'wiener water soup' for the next little while lol.

WB collect had movie Cap and Winter soldier for $20 and $17 respectably with free shipping loose. I just got the Man of Steel black suit Superman in from him yesterday (only cost me $8). I would be buy Cap but my money is going to something big right now. Good deal, especially for any of us north of the border.

The original Toybiz version goes for $20-30 MOC, the 2pack version goes from $50-120 loose depending on who's selling it, so the new version selling for %60-80 on the 2nd hand Market makes sense. I don't like it, but it does make sense, think of how many people got all the Walmart Avengers *me included, but never got a Black Widow, aside from needing her to complete your BAF Mandroid figure, she also completes your Movie Avengers team. So you have 2 types of die-hard collectors bidding her up. I really hope to find 1 or 2 at retail, as I too can't justify the inflated 2nd market prices.

I agree 1000% about the Widow situation. Actually there are 3 groups looking for her: those that want the figure, those that want to complete the Avengers set, and those that want to complete the Mandroid. I called Hasbro to complain, and they said they take comments like that seriously. Everyone should call and complain about this extremely poor case ratio and rationale. It can't hurt and may help.

I was able to order some BW's from Walmart.com but all of them came back as "backordered." What's the point in putting them on for sale if you don't have them in stock? Anyways I don't want the Black Widow I just want the Mandroid torsos so if I can get one I'll give to you guys for trade or $...if I get them.

I hope you guys find yours too. We did a last minute check on a Target by my job which allegedly has "8" on hand and all we saw was World War 2 Caps. I just want to punch that toy. It's everywhere like Star Wars Black Greedos. Haha.

I'll definitely buy one from anyone here instead. I don't have any need for Build A figure parts. We actually still have a Goblin torso from Black Cat if anyone needs it.

I only want Winter Soldier & Stealth Cap at the moment...but I think the little lady might steal those from me eventually. She's a bigger Captain America fan than me. LOL

The crazy part is that people on ebay want more for the torso than I would pay for pretty much any whole figure. I'd pay $20 to get the torso but I guess I'll just have to hope for a retail find and then sell Widow loose. If that happened the torso wouldn't cost me anything I guess.

Man, there is some hardcore competition in my area! I've yet to even see a SWB Boba Fett. Someone hit up all the local Target stores the day they stocked Series 2 Cap Legends. I was only able to find Stealth Cap's. It is an awesome figure though.

I'm still looking for Winter Soldier, Black Widow, an extra BAF piece from each and I may be interested in Toxin or Spider Girl. Kind of on the fence on those two. I actually traded a Spider Girl away. I've got some of the current ones up for trade if anyone is looking to deal.

I guess if I can't find them, I'll just wait for the Local Shows/Cons. Somehow, I was able to army build Hydra, AIM and Sandtroopers. I'm not looking forward to hunting down Stormtroopers, UGH...

The All New X-Men Box Sets haven't hit here yet either. I got the one I ordered online a week ago. I think I'll be leaving it in the box based on some of the reviews I've seen.

EDIT: Also wanted to add that Meijer is carrying Cap Legends at 14.99. But, they don't seem to be carrying Spidey Legends yet. A friend of mine also said he saw Star Wars Black Series at Kroger, but I can't confirm if this is true or some weird return accident.

Can someone explain the Amazon thing. How can they be filling orders and shipping from Amazon and chargering $95. If Amazon has the item how can the seller not be Amazon?

Amazon has items in their warehouse that are sold by others. As I understand it they pre-sell certain stock and I think certain items from large sellers get sent to them. They sell enough product to have daily shipments to Amazon that don't cost much since they get a good rate from UPS or someone.

Its about as frustrating as getting the entire first avengers movie line at walmart.

Then when the movie comes out there will be some kids that want BW too. I keep having this horrible feeling that I will turn the corner on a toy isle and see a kid holding the last BW figure. Not that I would do anything bad, they just might see a grown man cry.
