It's funny how old ideas worm their way through your subconscious. I took the first pic within a day or so of receiving my SDCC set that year. The Satana fig has one of the more standout face sculpts of all of Hasbro's female figs,IMO. It's the eyes, mostly.

Her eyes are not the first things I noticed about her. :rolleyes

Well, she did function as one of Marvel's 'succubus' characters. Selene being another notable representation, although, in a less direct fashion than Ms. Hellstrom.

At least the sex appeal makes more sense with Satana than it does when shoehorned into other Hasbro figs. The quasi-misogynistic feel of using this mold for Moonstone, Rogue and Spider Woman seems a little bit out of place. Mostly because it doesn't drive any element written into those characters.

Sex appeal is NEVER a bad thing. ;)

Damn that's a great wave, wish I was collecting 6" when those came out! Especially Stryfe and magneto. It'll suck if they don't get a reissue at some point.

My order from BBTS of the Spider-Man wave arrived yesterday. Looks great, but I haven't had time to open them yet. Both of the Black costume Spider-Man figures have a couple mark on the spider symbol. It's not terrible, but I was hoping for a perfect symbol. Oh well.

i really want my spidey wave from BBTS but i have two other things on pre-order to go in my Pile O loot, coming in (supposedly) this month so i have to wait..GRRRRRR....
