So im starting to open up the sandman wave figures packaging. i just started looking at shocker. does anybody notice one eye is bigger then the other? was he made purposely like that, or could this be the a repainted deadpool head? i do know they try to portray deadpool like that alot.

Yeah, I mentioned that in my comments on the wave as well. It looks really odd.

Of course, you'll either have to pay shipping cost or spend $69 there to get free shipping.

Thanks for the heads up. I will consider it.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Considering it doesn't have any of the other unique sculpting of the Deadpool head, and that the wider eye is on the other side, it has to be a new mold, which means it has to have been intentional.

I know he is more Daredevil than Spidey villain , I want a Stilt-Man.

Also a Silver Sable, and just a damn Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy, and Peter Parker figure!!! A regular Peter in jeans, w/ shirt or jacket. A Gwen in her death outfit. and a MJ in torn jeans and a crop top.
The odd thing is I almost expect a MJ in her outfit from the current cartoon where she has a Symbiote before anything.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...psfutfcryo.jpg

I did not care for the whole "Carnage Queen" MJ, but now she has a symbiote and she has a very modern Scarlet Spider vibe going on, but she is going by Spider Woman in the cartoon.

I've wanted MJ, Felicia Hardy, Gwen, and an Aunt May for a long time now, as well as a figure of the Burglar who killed Uncle Ben.

I hope we someday get Felicity Hardy as Scarlett Spider, who Carnage Queen MJ reminds me a lot of.

Also...for those of you who might be interested but curious about when it will come to fruition, the new Black Series Princess Leia has debuted the double jointed female elbows that they said would eventually be returning to Marvel Legends in the future. Might not be that long until we start seeing them.

Also, R.I.P. George Michael. What a kick to the groin this year has been to the music industry.

Isn't that kind of morbid? Do you want them to give us her tombstone and casket too?

I want her to look like a professional actress, not a hooker.

I'd be down for that. Hell make the casket openable to place said corpse into

Many times thats one in the same. ;)

donmeca2020 12-25-2016 06:26 PM

Im down for the civilian characters as well, the only reason i think they would never sell us because they might turn into peg warners.

Does anyone recall a teaser shot of a MJ from this past SDCC?? It wasn't an actual figure but like a picture of her on the screen. Doesn't that usually hint at something there ?

While possibly morbid, the green jacket/black top/purple skirt/black go-go boots outfit is the iconic Gwen Stacy look.

Yeah, it was a gray digital sculpt that was shown at SDCC which generally becomes a part of the following year's SDCC exclusive.

Oh, you mean the clothes she was wearing when she died. I thought you meant whatever outfit she wore when she was buried. :D

For next spidey wave I'm hoping for OverDrive.

I want them to do Doc Ock, but if they can't do him right, I'd rather they just pass. I vaguely remember hearing something about how they can't put those bendy wires in kids toys anymore due to safety reasons.

I know I've said this before, but we REALLY need a deluxe line of standalone figures for characters who need a special amount of personalized attention to do right. Doc Ock is the most prime example of that.

I could get behind a deluxe line, but it would probably be a hard sell to retailers.

If you really want a fantastic Doc Ock, there's always this guy...

He holds up to this day, and even brand new, while a bit on the pricey side, he'll run you even cheaper than it would be buying a BAF version of him, which you know Hasbro will release him as once it comes time to.

I STRONGLY believe that the upcoming BAF "wings" for the Homecoming Vulture figure is an experiment by Hasbro to see if people would buy "Build-An-Accessory" for more complex characters who have props further down the road such as Doc Ock, Stilt Man, or Ghost Rider's Bike (or car...)

Dr Kain 12-26-2016 12:04 AM

That Ock is way too expensive these days.

I'm quite certain NECA has proven that to be utter bullshit.

Regardless, why would anyone want their Doc Ock arms to break in 5 year's time? I want him to have real plastic, not some garbage bendy wire crap. Putting a bendy wire on a toy is a crime against nature.

Ehh...a figure that averages about 60 bucks on eBay vs an eventual (and more than likely) BAF that will run 160 dollars depending on where you shop...which also will leave you with a figure or two you may not want. I'll take the lower price point...even if it seems like a lot.

I nabbed mine last year for around 40 bucks, so if you're savvy, he can be had.

I have a feeling though when Hasbro does get around to Doc Ock, it will end up being the younger version of him (similar to the one we got in the Spider-Man Classics and Marvel Select lines)...as the classic version of him would require an entirely unique body sculpt. While that wouldn't make him a long-shot by any means, we do know that Hasbro usually will only do unique body sculpts if they are somehow able to re-purpose them in the future. Other than a character like Mole Man, who would they make that fits Otto's body type of short and round?

Makes sense. I'd certainly be in for this if it meant a new bike for Ghost Rider. A Spider-Mobile would be really cool too.

Also seems like a great way to get a Big Wheel! Everyone wants Big Wheel right?

I would assume NECA gets to do it because they make toys for a much older age group.

hasbroherofan 12-26-2016 07:21 AM

If they're worried a civilian figure wouldn't sell maybe they could cheat and do MJ in one of her superhero identities she's had.

$60 for one toy is way too much, especially for a toy that is 10 years old.

Since when was Doc Ock ever young? Plus, at this point, I don't care, I just want him.

But they still sell the toys in stores. Mattel had to follow toy rules for kids even though they were selling them only online for adults.

Ultimate. I think he even got a fig before from Marvel Select.

EDIT: Yup it was in a two-pack with Spider-Man.
