I scanned them twice and two different 3 pack still at 49.99 , haven't tried the rewards card thing since I lost that damn thing many moons ago.

Yeah, it's only discounted for rewards members.

Anyway, I just wasted 2 hours going to two other Targets. One of them had only Astral Strange for $13 and they wanted $10 for the Avengers figures. The other Targer I went to only had Mordo and Voodoo, but their Strnge stuff was on clearance for $10, while they had the Avengers guys for $13, and $11 for the Iron Man 2 pack. Oh, and they had the Spidey/Cap/Tony 3 pack for $48.

Eel is such an amazing figure...I hope to see him in a Marvel movie or in a Marvel animated movie soon...

this is why i've been learning...you can't really judge a fig off of the pics that come out early..you have to have it in hand to really make a decision.

eel was like the most bland dude...yet was a cool fig..

likewise..i just opened Spidey UK....and this was the one i KNOW i didn't want..yet in hand..it's a pretty cool fig...MOSTLY because this is a decent buck...
the ab cruch is almost imperceiveable (and yeah i'm not really sure if that's a word)..but yeah..you really almost can't see it at all..

decepticon_mark 12-28-2016 04:39 PM

Agree about Eel. And likewise there have been several I didn't want til I had in hand then just couldn't put them down. Kinda like Cable who I got for Christmas or Juggernaut who I wasn't gonna build since I have the Select version but besides Jackal these are the two I've played with most since Christmas.

Harbinger 12-28-2016 05:05 PM

I have to agree on eel. For some reason the figure just pops woth a certain lame coolness thats yet to be described.

Augustus_Cole 12-28-2016 05:19 PM

just opened spidey 2099..another fig (that i wasn't too fond of when looking at images) and i'm really liking...

http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/n...psi9qqcykt.jpg

-I'm liking Jackal the least but that's mostly due to me knowing NOTHING about the character...
-Symbiote Spidey's legs are ....odd..
-Really liking Green Goblin..love the face sculpt
-Shocker..hmmm...overall nice figure...the knee things are weird. and as someone mentioned he does have a wonky eye ..like slightly deadpoolish..probably could have been better overall..but i still like it..
-Really feeling Sandman...even though he has those Toy-Biz Ball hip joints. I think this is an amazing figure.

@AFU

I like the figure also...classic comic colors. lol

I noticed that Black Costume Spidey's legs are a little warped too. I think I'm gonna put him on a flight stand so it looks like he's web slinging. Maybe that will help?

that's a good idea actually !! where do they sell these flight stands and display accessories for legends? any idea? i've been meaning to start looking around for them. i have quite a few legends that should be either flying or levitating or in spidey's case just through the air.

Kirathis 12-29-2016 08:30 AM

@DTL
I totally agree about Spidey 2099 and Spidey UK. In hand they are a really nice figures. 2099's articulation really adds to the overall figure. The details of Spidey UK's costume also really help to hide the ab crunch.

@Spyne
The black suit Spidey looks good on a flight stand. I have mine posed to look like he is about to punch someone and it really helps. Thankfully I do not think mine has the warped legs others have mentioned but mine is pretty wobbly in the legs and torso instead.

@donmeca
If you want the Obitsu stands (clear plastic ones TBM and I both typically use) check Hobby Link Japan. If you buy 10 or so the price even with shipping is cheaper per stand than anywhere in the US. Even with the usual back order they ship pretty quickly.

When you place an order for back ordered items, they will send you a notification email once they have stock. Make sure to keep an eye on this as they do not charge you or ship them until you do the payment verification. At least that was the case when I bought some last year.

It took me a second to realize that was MJ below Sandman. For a sec I thought Hasbro had made a Secret Wars II Beyonder!

donmeca2020 12-29-2016 09:19 AM

HEADS UP EVERYBODY !!!

If you want deadpool Amazon is currently selling him for $25.01 before tax and shipping. i don't mind spending that for him, however $40 to ^0 bucks no thanks.

jump on it now while you still can !!

I just heated the legs up on mine to get them straightened.

However, yeah, they're warped because of the way Hasbro has packaged them.

They work easier with the small to mid range sizes but yes they will work. The stands are super light but you can counter balance them pretty well. If you are doing a display with rubble or something you can also use that stuff to help weigh down the stand if necessary. TBM is awesome at using his so I'm sure he probably has some pointers.
