Wish that they went with the 90s Midnight Sons Morbius instead of Disco collar Morbius. Or even the Spider-Man TAS look would have been preferable.

Ok guys I'll stop with the super negative stuff but I stopped at Walmart and they had the new civil war legends for $15... I was a little tempted by taskmaster as he looked super cool. Spare udon head, extra red skull head, orange light saber and shield. The 6" ones come packed to the gills with accessories and are now only $2 apart. it's even more disparaging when a small startup like boss fight can sell highly articulated 4" toys with boatloads of extras for about $10 each if you went all in. Oh well

LordMudd 05-13-2016 06:22 PM

My Walmart restocked the 2 packs, at the $12 price.

CCC.

Madame Warlock 05-13-2016 06:45 PM

I don't like the look of Morbius in those pics. I'm really disappointed. It was kind of a corny design anyway I guess.

Quasar looks great but I hate that we're not getting the Phyla Vell version.

$12 for 2 figures and a comic? That sounds like a pretty nice deal to me.

Picked up a Marvel Hulk today. A little light research did not turn up much, can somebody fill me in on why the Hulk needs armor? I don't read comics I just collect for the nostalgia from childhood Secret War toys and 90's X-men Cartoon.

redfox 05-14-2016 08:37 PM

After seeing Cap: Civil War, I kinda wish the upcoming Black Panther/Sharon Carter 2-pack was a Black Panther/Scarlet Witch 2-pack. Also the re-hashed Cap/Iron Man 2-pack is such a wasted slot. Should have gotten Vision or an updated (mask-less) Winter Soldier. Ugh, oh well...

The armor was for Banner's safety, when/if the Hulk "powered down" during a dangerous confrontation.

Agreed. I don't dislike Sharon Carter at all but there are other figures I would have preferred in her place for that pack, especially a Scarlet Witch figure. Then that Cap/Iron Man pack is a huge disappointment since it's not even a good Cap'n figure and that seems like the wrong Iron Man figure to use for the black and gold color scheme.

I'm kind of in a different camp re the BP/Agent 13 set. Yes, it would have been nice to have a MCU Vision or Scarlet Witch with more than 5 POA but they are both in IW 1 and 2 so there's an opportunity for them in the future. But as for Agent 13, if they didn't do it now (and I'm surprised but pleasantly surprised for a change) then they never will. Or to look at it another way, in Agent 13 we have a secondary character who gets her own figure - they never released a Jane Foster in 3.75" scale and as she isn't in Ragnarok the we won't, and it's not as if Hasbro didn't already have basic Portman head sculpts lying around.

I would have been more accepting of those two as-is if either of these two were true
1) we actually got an IM armor from the movie seperately like with Cap
2) they were part of a "concepts" sub-line (which actually we'd need part 1 to be true, too for this to be acceptable)

For a while I was hoping we'd see a third pack eventually like with AoU but since we still don't have these two I'm not hopeful. At least we should be getting a pack that isn't just slight repaints/repacks (the AoU Falcon/Hawkeye pack wad SO disappointing!)

I wish Hasbro would make some cool 3.75 MCU movie boxsets, new well articulated figures, no 5 poa crap. If they made a box set for every film it would be so much better than these little trickles that we get. A different amount of figures in a boxset for every movie. A Guardians of the Galaxy 5 pack with the heroes of the movie(Starlord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket & Groot). Age of Ultron could have had a 7 pack(Ultron, Vision, Iron Legion, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Hawkeye long sleeves). Antman would have been a 2 pack(Antman & Yellowjacket). Then another 7 pack for CA: Civil War( Captain America, Crossbones, Spidey, Black Panther, Agent 13, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier). This would so make me buy every single MCU figure.

It just seems they are pushing 3.75 collectors to buy the 6 inch line.

I love multi packs, but I don't know if they sell well seems like they are always discounted. But yes your idea would be awesome.

Yeah, I have no hate for the character. She's pretty cool. I just think other characters shined a bit more in Civil War and deserved the spot. Though in her defense, her character was pushed to the forefront by early promotional material. I'm assuming this is why Hasbro chose to make her, instead of the more mainline MCU characters.
