I hope that Peter Dinklage as Pip thing ends up being true. I know it's type casting, but he's a terrific actor and it's so easy to imagine him as that lovably surly chain-smoking bastard. I love it.

Is that Target? My Target put out two fresh cases of the X-men wave this week... I can tell because I saw a bunch of pristine Havoks, Icemans & Kitty Prydes. LOL. All the other MLs are on clearance I think. They must be trying to get rid of everything they have before the new stuff hits.

Well, if they were to mix them up with comic Defenders, that would be a way of releasing Nighthawk, Gargoyle, Clea, Red Guardian II, Devil-Slayer and Son Of Satan...my Defenders display is very poor compare to my other teams.

We really need a Nighthawk. I am so annoyed that in either scale we have an the main 7 Defenders minus one per scale (Nighthawk here and Hellcat in smaller.) One or the other needs to be completed.

Soo cheap! I'll take five at that price.

but I honestly don't ever remember seeing that character in a Marvel book..and looking at him...(and recognizing the costume) I honestly thought it was like a Hanna Barbera character or something like that.

It got me thinking of who I'd want to see playing Adam Warlock in the movie. My brain joked that it should be Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, but you know? That might actually work.
We've seen him play smug and superior as Jaime Lannister, and those are pretty much Warlock's defining traits.

Haha! I'm way older than you, I guess. I had the old Defenders books in pocket form when I was 10 or thereabouts. Worth a reading. Lots of guest stars then. I still read those issues from time to time...bloody nostalgia.
But I do remember when New Warriors came out, and it was quite sweet. I remember liking a lady called Silhoutte. She was very cool.

I'm thinking the next wave will be something like

Storm
Psylocke
Mister Sinister
Nightcrawler
Gambit
Madrox
Moonstar

and if there's an eight either Monet, Mystique (classic), Lady Deathstrike, All New Wolverine, Beast, Bishop, Angel, Banshee or maybe even Exodus or Sebastian Shaw. I suspect all of these will get done at some point except maybe Exodus.

Also think we'll eventually see Domino, cannonball, Xavier, Pyro, Avalanche and possibly Sunspot, Blink and Callisto. Along with redos of Emma, Magneto, Jubilee, Sabretooth and other possible redos as well. And honestly that about would wrap up my possible thoughts on what would get made, unless they did a set like the Hellfire Club.

BAF will either be highly viable character like apocalypse or a much requested BAF like Sauron or Nimrod (again I suspect all three will get done eventually)

Love the old Defenders books. Great stuff with Valkyrie, Hulk, Nighthawk, Son of Satan, Silver Surfer, Namor, Strange, Beast, and on and on. Some big players in the lineups.

Also saw Wolverine and Ashley Barton (?!) at a different Walmart this morning.

I wouldn't bet the farm on him being Pip. He seems to avoid specifically going for fantasy dwarf beings at this point in his career.

And of course, he played a bad guy in one of the X-Men movies who was not a dwarf in the comics even though everyone assumed he'd be playing Puck.
