so that upcoming infinite series deadpool could almost pass off as a hydra goon,do you have an agent bob that could go along with him, ukmu???
also you guys may remember that cool attack on latveria display at sdcc a while back.just going through the photos of the display i noticed northstar, some gold ultrons,a six armed ultron that looked more like a legends figures and.........mu doombots without the hoods and using ultron bodies.think we will see an official release on those doombots?

Law78 05-27-2015 04:48 AM

Don't know if you guys are interested but TRU sent me notification the AOU Black Widow/Steve Rogers and Iron Man/Nick Fury are in stock for delivery only, I'm not too bothered as they are £19.99 each and cant afford 40 quid at the moment and don't know what they are like articulation wise??

Black Widow is pretty much super articulated. Double joint knees, ankle pivot, wrists, elbows, head swivel. Iron Man is pretty much the same but has an ab joint too. Fury is the same but doesn't have wrist joints and Cap's is the same as Fury's but without the ab joint and any leg joints below the knees. Hope that clears it up! XD

Got this guy today, happy to finally have an Ant-Man in this scale - never got the MU one, but I prefer this design anyway :)

no BOB as of yet.....yet.

I plan on taking some pics for you guys...... dragging them out for Thursday. Any requests? It is hard to think up ideas some times.

@Law

that WIDOW is an amazing figure in my opinion. I prefer the first film version though. I picked 5 up at TESCO for £.75 each once! They are long gone buddy or i would just give you one. She is still around on Chinabay.... *tip, when you SEARCH on ebay for someone (mu) and you get ZERO results....click in the address bar and delete the .co.uk part (keeping all the rest before AND after) and replace with .com...and .ca...and .com.au...and .de and so on and so on. Some sellers dont always list UK but still will ship it there from the CHINESE sellers, and looking in other countries (especially Germany and Turkey) can help you dig up some gemsd with little to no bidding competition.

Spotted the AOU 3.75" Ultron, Iron Legion and War Machine figures on Amazon for £10.99 each and free delivery. The Loki re-release and Scarlet Witch are up there too but they're a bit more.

Found this in Morrisons this morning for £5.99. First time I've seen it out in the shops! I'm not an avid collector of the 2.5 inch line but I couldn't resist this. Very impressed by the detail on these ones. Found Hawkeye for the first time too.

Panthro1978 05-29-2015 05:01 AM

Sorry I've not been on here in a bit, but I've not really found anything of note lately. :(

I think its a "reaching/grabbing" pose :P but yeah a clenched fist on one hand would've been nice

Swap one out with an Astonishing Cyclops fist, and give him a holding hand and I'd say he'd be amazing. Do you know if the MU Steve Rogers head would fit on him? I use it for my Hank Pym, and it'd be good to get this guy instead of the MU Ant Man.

wouldnt imagine it will be long before you have bob in there amongst your troops.try replicating your fav comic moment or cover.or a face off style pic.

nice score on the anti venom, you get him at a decent price?

TheLongestDay 05-31-2015 02:44 AM

Id have to chop Ol Ant-Man up to change his hands as he has no wrists :/

Heres the articulation:

neck has ball+joint (like MU Steve Rogers)
shoulders+elbows are standard swivel.
No wrists
No torso articulation but waist has swivel
hips are plastic t-bar style
double jointed knees
ball joint/swivel ankles.

Oh well that is a bitch, I just assumed he had wrists because of the rest of his articulation.

My apologies sir, I'd completely forgotten about your question. I can't see them releasing those Doombots anytime soon.

Jackieboy 05-31-2015 03:44 AM

what i wanted to point out about the pics, was the soon to be released figs on display such as the gold ultrons, emma frost and northstar, those doombots are using a new head sculpt by the look of it.if they unveil them at sdcc 15,is it too little too late???
personally id like to see the line run another 5 years, but seems to me that hasbro are putting all their eggs in the legends basket.

Jackieboy 05-31-2015 03:49 AM

northstar.

head over to cooltoyreview.com they have a ton of pics from this display, last year.never noticed some of the figs first time around, may have been because the other pics were not as detailed and clear as the above ones.also noticed what looks like igor from im3 in there, but i never seen that fig in 3.75 scale.

Finally spotted the AOU 3.75" figure two packs in my local Toys Us today! They had a few of this one and lots of the Iron Man and Nick Fury one. Was a bit indecesive about which to get first, seeing as I only had enough for one but all the other Black Widow figure faces weren't quite as good with their paint apps, so I went with this one in the end. Didn't see the Falcon and Hawkeye one but it is on the website.

I would have agreed with jedirulz at first thinking they would never release those dooombots. Kind of like the red hood, moon boy, sharon carter, and Morgan Le fay (I think she was riding a dragon or something) I just figured they were customs we would never see. But you make a good point Jackieboy, they are releasing those gold ultrons soon, and northstar is on the cardback of the newest wave. Maybe we will see some doombots.
As for this line, if they sync it up with the MCU we should be good until the 2020's, I think the official MCU schedule goes out until 2019, with longer plans behind the scenes. I see the 4" figs making a comeback after Dwight Stall get fired based on the amount of Legends and mashers and 2.5" figures pegwarming and at discount stores. Just my guess.

You know, the Legends are excellent right now. Give it time and we'll get the same attention. Maybe this line will get back to it's glory days, when they updated their old bucks every so often with better proportioned, more articulated ones, like with the newer Namor buck used the update Black Panther, and the JL Cyclops/Steve Rogers buck used for Daredevil & Bullseye. Then the new Hulk we got, complimenting the new buck for an Abomination or a Rhino. I have no doubt we'd have gotten a definitive female buck by now, not that under-articulated rubbish, or the lanky super-model body.

thanks kernel, yeah i see a lot of the 2.5 and mashers line gathering dust in major toystores.hopefully there are some nice surprises in store at sdcc seen an article over on one of the FB groups regarding the favourable push legends recently got and the cut backs on our beloved 3.75 line.dave vonner said the 3.75 crowd need to voice their concerns because hasbro DO listen.so sdcc will be interesting to see how the next year goes.hopefully we get finally get doombots.
