...what is that alternate head with Colossus? Is that his ANADM facial hair?

Those X-menzes look great....everyone one is a must have for me.

The only thing I don't like..and that's not a knock on the figs..
is Colussus' costume..something about that missing midsection I am not a fan of at all...
i was already thinking about painting it in yellow but it probably be damn near impossible to match those yellows....

the set looks sick though...


*edit*..and such an odd choice for the Dazzler costume. But it's a female, and sculpted well, and a classic costume, and and X-Man...so ...yeah..it's a given anyway..

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be his current beard face. It started with ANAD but he's kept it thus far, though I do think it grew out a little more when he became a horseman. Weird to include it with this toy though since the body doesn't match his ANAD look. Maybe Hasbro is in a mood to give us alternate heads that don't match the body but they figure "hey it's still the same character."

Love that oldman logan, though he shoulda come with alternate hands at least, if not a damn motorcycle. ( not digging these no parts wave tigs with no extra stuff )
Colossus is awesome and im glad hes wearing pants.
while sunfire was only briefly an xman its cool to have him.

cyclops, nice to have jimlee cyke but i still hate him ( the character i never liked him. ). Shatterstar never cared for him.
polaris...not my fave version of her and really not keen on the choice of hair styles but that can be remedied with wanda or enchantress hair.
Wont be much for the baf as i never really got into new mutants.
Overall kinda underwhelmed with the wave but will still get logan, sunfire, and colossus.

Patience is key when collecting current marvel legends, but we all get bit by that must have bug sooner or later. And I'm all in for this new x-men wave, first marvel legend wave i will be collecting in totality. Will definitely be moving that baf though as I never liked that guy.

I wonder if Colossus is significantly taller than normal ML figures, I want my Colossus to be towering over Cable, otherwise my Marvel Select Colossus stays.

From everything I've heard/read, Colossus stands at 7.5".

Eh, not the first time. Taskmaster got the same treatment - Ultimate Spider-Man head (which matched the costume) and UDON-styled miniseries head. Fairly certain there's other examples I can't think of right now.

X-Men wave is looking super nice. I wish Cyclops came with a fisted hand to replace the optic blast hand and I wish OML came with an alternate younger head and some hands with the claws extended like with Brown Suit Wolverine since he doesn't come with a BAF piece.


Only figure I'm totally meh about is Colossus. Not really a knock on the figure itself, but I just don't care for that costume. I think Marvel Select Colossus stays as my go-to Colossus figure. Everything else, I'm awaiting desperately. I'd rank 'em, from most anticipated to least anticipated:

I'm pumped as hell for the wave, though I share some of the same concerns. I'd love some alternate left fists for both Cyke and Colossus, and a younger head for Logan.

But there's a LOT of new tooling and pieces in this wave, and with Warlock being 100% new parts, I'm willing to overlook those minor missteps. Also, does Sunfire have the butterfly joints in his pec/bicep area? That's awesome.

I love the new X-Men wave, the only two I am "meh" about are Colossus and Warlock...IMO, I think this is the worst BAF in a long time...Just like the Ultimate Green Goblin and Hobgoblin, Ultron, and Sandman, this BAF too will be a pass for me...Happy hunting, toy hunters...

I wish there was someone in that wave I actually wanted besides Warlock. Not sure I will be able to justify the wave just for the BAF. Cyke and Colossus look great but are not part of the small group of X characters I really want. I might just have to wait and see if I luck into the wave on the cheap at some point.

I would definitely be interested in a wave of the younger original team that was brought into the future. Particularly if Angel includes his Black Vortex fire wings and if Beast comes with a little Pickles add-on figure. I have been reading their series on Marvel Unlimited and Pickles cracks me up.

I'm really interested in Dazzler (because she reminds me of Bonnie Tyler) and such a killer origin story. Along with Old Man Logan and Cyclops :D

Given some of the reactions on this very board, it probably wouldn't be hard for you to get the BAF parts by themselves. Or make a good amount of money back by selling of the figures sans BAF parts.

Not all of the old Toybiz Legends have sculpting up to the standard of some of the stuff today, but their Colossus seems to fit in okay among the modern figures? That's who I use, anyway. The new one is tempting, though.

Toybiz Colossus works great in either a classic or Jim Lee X-men team. I love Select for some of the larger figures but personally always thought the proportions for Pete when mixing him in with ML guys just made him look too tall and skinny-

Cyclops, Dazzler, Sunfire, Polaris, Shatterstar, and Warlock all have open spaces waiting for them- only Old Man Logan and the new Colossus will be getting boxed away. Overall, very excited for this wave- more so than most any wave prior.

Which Juggernaut is that? But yeah, the Toybiz Juggernaut works just fine for me as well. I might need to see him next to the recent BAF to compare, but I think I'm doing okay.
I know it's asking a bit much since we only just got a Kitty Pryde, but would it be unreasonable to want a space Kitty in an upcoming wave for my Guardians display? Her X-Men rookie uniform is A) out of date and B) a little plain.
