yes, I was being sarcastic, those were all "R" rated movies that had toy lines that were at least as successful as there film counterparts. NECA only happens to hold most of those licenses because they were great toy lines that happened to be biased on "R" ratewd films... thinking about it now, it would be orgasmicly awesome if NECA were to get the rights to Deadpool, because of it's "R" rating. think about it, they have most of DC's movies on lock, why not Marvel?

We even got kids toys for R rated movies like Judge Dredd (they were miniatures, but they still count), Conan, Blade, Demolition Man, and Police Academy (which next to the Ghostbusters firehouse and some G.I.Joe bases like the Terrordrome, had one of the best playsets I've ever played with. That thing was fun!)

We also got non-Mcfarlane Matrix action figures, but granted, they were targeted at a slightly older audience, as I was only able to find them at my LCS as a kid.

@ TJ Maxx...didn't find anything some of you guys were finding (DC 3.75 figs) but I couldn't walk out empty handed...It's pretty cool actually, from $50.00 retail to $29.99. It goes up to the year 2013 in history.

Man, I really want one of those, but it's always gonna be outdated as soon as it hits shelves :P Maybe Marvel could do App version that constantly updates? In toy finding news though, finally got my hands on a Black Series Captain Phasma! I do want her, but she also might be trade material if anyone has a Black Series Boba Fett of NECA Reeve Superman :D

Scored these today at my LSS (Local Scalper Shop) today, and scored an additional 10% off simply because I knew the lyrics to "Love Gun" and did my best Gene Simmons impersonation for the girl at the counter...(even though I don't think the girl realized that it's Paul Stanley who sings "Love Gun", not Gene Simmons...lol.)

I wonder what kind of discount they would have given me if I puked blood on them?

@provost I love that image run of GIJoe. I have almost all the issues including the later DDP issues.Issue 21 is a cool homage to the Marvel silent issue.

And about the discussion of R rated spin off cartoons. I would've watched the crap out of a Terminator cartoon series. Because there wasn't one, I had to settle for all the awesome comics that were released in the 90s..

Kenner's Terminator line is still one of my favorites.
