It was barely a full page where Juggs was fighting the X-Men but was suddenly transported to the DC universe where his punch landed on the side of the Daily Planet instead. So in the next panel a confused Cain soon found his helmet caved in by one punch from the Man of Steel. As it is, it's unlikely that Juggernaut would have an edge over Superman because of magic, since Juggernaut's powers don't really work that way. He gets super strength from a magic power but then after that his punches seem to be all physical strength with no added magical energy. And on top of that, they tend to be slow punches, which means he'd likely never land a hit on Supes in the first place given Clark's super speed (having magic alone isn't good enough if you can't hit your target in the first place). |

On the other hand, I will be buying more than one of these. The headsculpt is still really nice and this Sue has great fodder possibility. She has a regular gripping hand of all things! (Perfect for a certain Psylocke restoration project of mine...) |
Everything feels so stagnant in my stores lol Hard to find Marvel anything to be honest.

That's right! I forgot that was a page 1 scene, might have been in the voting/preview of the marvel vs DC book. I need to read those again they were very cool. |
I finished Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus Volume 1 last night and overall it was... amazing. :)
The stories were well written and a blast to look at. My favorite panel in the book is probably the one towards the end in the return of the Molten Man issue where Spidey is in MM's room with the lights out. The way that panel is drawn and colored is so bad ass. Nevertheless, there was a lot of great artwork to be found here and it was interesting to finally read the issue with the infamous flooding scene. That was kind of cool how the panels kept getting bigger and bigger as the struggle progressed. I'm not sure which story I would say is my favorite though, as there are a lot ot choose from. It would probably be a toss up between the Annual that introduces the Sinister Six, the "Master Planner" trilogy (as they called it in the essays), and the 3 parter where Peter gave up being Spider-Man for the first time Aunt May was sick (17-19 I believe). Another thing I love is how the identity of Green Goblin has yet to be revealed and that Norman was not even introduced officially until like issue 37 despite seeing him at Jameson's country club. I wonder if Stan Lee thought of Norman beforehand or if he just decided to make him GG on the fly. Either way, it was cleverly done. The only issues I didn't really enjoy were the one with Mysterio pretending to be a psychologist and the one with a guy who gets his powers frm a meteor. Not only that, but he called himself The Looter. :mad2 It's kind of sad that Ditko is gone from this point, but that's okay because Romita was a great successor (and my favorite Spider-Man artist from the issues I read years ago), so I'm looking forward to this. Getting to read this many issues in order is so enjoyable. Quote:

i've been to three local walgreens, a walmart and target looking for something new, all three walgreens have their exclusives, nothing new, was hoping to find green goblin, walmart is resetting the isle so they had jack and all target had was a couple of x-men figs, still looking for that elusive deadpool, gotta keep swinging away
|
I've learned to chill out on the Walgreens. Within 2 months the new figures will be abundant, we just have to wait and the goodies will come. Of course, it all depends on your wants, some figures I wouldn't want to wait on either. So far the only one I've ordered online has been Namor because his shiny male review outfit was the bomb.

Had an excellent birthday dinner last night with my wife and a few friends, and came away with a pretty swell batch of gifts for an aging nerd like myself.

And it depends on the company/game, especially since DLC can be worked on by devoted teams outside of the primary game scenario team while they're finishing the main game. But it's true, there's a number of companies that use DLC as an excuse, rather than as additional content. |

Does anyone know where these photos are coming from? I've seen three different people post these a couple days apart. And can't seem to find any of these like official pics. |

I really want ANAD Wolverine, but I'd take any costume at this point as well. I even looked at the ToyBix X-23, but it's just awful.
