Would prefer a new thread as I don't want MH to have ANY ties to MAA. If this was renamed to a catch all Marvel games thread, it would be fairly confusing which game people are talking about because just about all the heroes cross over between games.

Looks like Black Knight will be the next PVP hero to win? They posted an image on FB asking to share and they'll reveal who it is.

Weird, I don't see MAA as a cash hungry game. I've practically played using only in-game silver, a few of the gold reward options like gamefly and netfix. Still having fun with it.

I'm having fun with it plenty, but PVP is where they kill you. If you can ignore wanting to get adamantium, which I can't because I'm a sucker.. then you're home free!

Problem with PVP is it's pretty difficult to defend with minimal isos, weapons, heroes, etc..

P.S. Finished Spec Ops yesterday.. hit the big iso today.. I swear this is rigged.

Looks like for SO8 they will have another box to open up, like the Magneto one. Also are they giving out weapons still? Just been getting a lot of stuff.

I also read that they are using a new method, which sounds good to me, because their first method of collecting magnetic lockboxes turned out to be a pain in the ass due to all the duplicates. That lead to lots of gold spent and another clearcut cashgrab by PD.

Oh, yeah, I can see that. Hahaha, I stopped caring about PVP a long time ago. Good thing is I see less and less hacks on there. A few weeks ago one guy had Thor and Cap but they were wearing their Hydra uniforms like in the current Spec Ops and the War Machine chapter. I don't know how that was even possible. He beat my ass too, every attack I did on him was either evaded or did zero damage. When I visited the dude's profile, it was weird cuz it came up to a "this profile was deleted/removed" screen. No idea.

You said Magneto and Wasp buffed and Strange nerfed? Where do you find this stuff? I even check Playdom's MAA forums and their last sticky patch notes is over a week old..

I noticed Magneto's buff yesterday on accident and wasn't sure if it was a bug or not. Just before Magneto hits a magnetized enemy, they take a little damage. So the order is that they take a small amount of damage, THEN Magneto's attack damage.

Have not messed with Wasp or Strange yet.

I wish I could even use Magneto. I'm STILL down one comic from getting him. Stupid duplicates.... :(

Hopefully you still can when Jugs comes out, I can see them doing away Mags for him, unless you can select which boxes to purchase, but then to win? Hmm I have 1 mag box left too, wonder will they convert them over to Jugs or just leave it be.

Haha nice, I'm betting they'll call it Cytorak boxes or something like that..but yeah agree he'll most likely be a bruiser and let's hope he's real good. I can see him having Hulk like moves though.

The moves he has already as a boss should give you a good idea of what he can do. They didn't stray too much from Magneto between boss and hero.

Aside from that momentum passive (which I think were similar to hulk-ups), he didn't have a whole lot going for him >: )

Haha I never pay attention too much to the boss's powers at the time:P Guess I should start, they should do Elektra next as a villain to hero. They def are bringing in a lot of X-Folks into the special stuff to get, especially PVP actually so far except for Punisher.

Also check your PVP walls for weapons that you've used to help increase your armory, looks like the ones that you've won they've decreased them by half. But the ones you've bought with gold still legit.

That about sums up PDs business practices when it comes to PvP. I'm not surprised.
