My question is what scale will ROM be in? I am a 3.75 collector but I guess having in both primary scales (4" bc he is tall and 6") would be cool for all.

If they get it selling, I would gladly buy a figure of him.

Btw, has the series been reprinted in a collection? Like, ever?

Nope. My memory is a little bit fuzzy but any merch from that show is probably nonexistent. At least any significant one's, at least. I don't think you'll want a 15" spin and twirl Hawkeye.

There was really no need for an action figure line from them since almost everyone figure-worthy in the show donned their classic Avengers comic costumes that are accessible in the 6" and 3.75" scale.

Also, I'm still really annoyed that this show got cancelled. Especially because it was because they cancelled it in favor of their crappy Avengers Assemble cartoon so that they could cash in on the success of the MCU. It was a genuinely good cartoon that had a lot of potential. Sorry for ranting now :/

I got this from Hisstank and I didn't see a scale specified but I was skimming through. It looks to be in the 3.75" scale.

I know what you mean. The last straw for me was the Spider-Man debut episode. They get the cast from Spectacular Spider-Man as a bit of a fond farewell for the fans but then they get recast with the Ultimate Spider-Man voices because **** you that's why. Not cool man.

Wolverine and the X-Men getting axed when the second season was going to be Age of Apocalypse was worse for me though. Loves me some X-Men.

I said that this was season 3 concept art...

Kinda sad that there's no merch for it. Guess I'll have to buy the DVDs.

I'm also really sad that it was cancelled because of the movie. This show made me a nerd, and it deserved far more respect than it got. Shame on you, Jeph Loeb!

Yeah, whilst I like Ultimate Spider-man and dislike Spectacular(long story, I just have some problems with it that I would rather not have an argument about here), the Spidey thing makes no sense, especially when you consider how EMH was obviously not canon with USM. Would've been interesting to see a Josh Keaton dub edition of the episode on a DVD or something, considering how he had already recorded his lines for the episode. I blame Disney for that one.

And yeah, Wolverine and the X-men is the only X-men series that I actually like, so I would've loved a second season.

Wollverin and the xmen didn't get the canceled. the company that made the toon went into bankruptcy and no one had the rights to go on making more seasons of it. Not sure how that works or who has the rights now.

Isn't that just a toy inspired cover. There's no toy coming is there?

Yeah it would be nice if they ever brought that toon back if anything straight to dvd/blu ray....

Do they still have the Avengers cartoon still running?

Yeah it looks like they restocked with wave 1 and 2. So glad I went when they opened about, cause I'm sure it would have been gone if I gone later in the day.

Avengers Assemble, the one meant for kids is still going on. In fact, it kickstarted a bunch of spinoffs like the Hulk one and the Guardians of the Galaxy one.

Considering some of the humor in Avengers Assemble(and the cameos) I think "for kids" is a bit of a misnomer. xD

People also tend to forget that EMH had some quite sexist moments. Like Carol Danvers being able to go toe to toe with the hulk and yet randomly gets knocked out by a pebble while flying a ship. And let's not forget some of the undertones to the Janet Van Dyne stories either among more(including the in-toon suggestion that Bobbi Morse only picked up a costume because that's what Clint did).

The show had a lot of promise, and some decent episodes, but it did have some rather sexist undertones to much of the portrayal of women in the show. Not that Assemble has done much better tbh. Granted Assemble's main flaw is the fact it only has one woman in the show, but you can see how it's attempted to treat the genders as more equal in their portrayal and give more emphasis on how well-trained Black Widow actually is. Assemble also doesn't seem afraid to tackle wider classic cameos either like the Squadron Supreme or Thunderbolts. Gives a lot of promise and potential for future character usages later. Though there is a mild hint of racism in the first two episodes with Tony Stark initially recruiting Sam Wilson to use the War Machine armor. Which Sam declined in favor of using gear he made instead to become Falcon.

I don't think he did it because he's black, I think he did it because that's just the armour he loans. Doesn't want people using his actual armours, so lend others the side armour.

redx24 06-21-2016 02:46 PM

Just got the black gold iron man cap pack and I have to ask other than look purty is there anything special about the armor other than Tony getting tired of red?

I never really noticed the sexist stuff, but you do bring up some good points. It didn't help that the only female character in the Avengers during the first season was one of the most annoying ones in battle(with her "quips" and stuff). However, I'd still take EMH over Assemble simply due to being better in pretty much every other regard.

Also, did Rhodey ever show up in Assemble? I never got why Sam was offered the War Machine armor. Like, wouldn't Rhodey object at all?

I love it because it's black and red, which is one of my favorite color combinations. Might have to make a custom from a more articulated figure if I ever intergrate that armor into my animations(that I have planned, at least).

Ah ok, and they're still making the toons for it? Or is it all just reruns now. Fell behind in watching those toons which sucks since I'm a bit OCD in watching them. Probably catch up later when my son gets older :P

Hasn't that particular Armor been released before in a single? I thought it has, only reason I skipped that set or else I should grab it if it hasn't.

It's the TRU exclusive CW set that gets packed with BP and Agent 13.

It was released in the red gold colors for the short lived avengers assemble figures.

Anyone know where I can get a mold copy of the necrnomicon? Too much evil dead lately is making want one for my figs. Please help before I need to make one for myself.

uberlad 06-21-2016 10:02 PM

Palisades made 3.75 scale necronomicons in their army of darkness lines. I think all the Ash variations came with one.

MUfan97 06-21-2016 10:51 PM

Okay, I have a question.

Are there any in-scale Tony Stark head sculpts available that would fit on a Modular Armor body? RDJ likeness is optional, as is paint. I just need to start stocking up on some stuff for a project.

Edit: I'm okay with heads from private sellers. Does NOT need to come from a mainstream figure.

Still making episodes for it. This season is Ultron Revolution or something like that.

The new aligned Marvel cartoons are staying around for a bit. Assemble and Ultimate at least. Agents of SMASH might get the axe though from the sounds of things. Or should I say the lack of sounds of things being developed and talked about. GOTG seems to be getting renewed too.

Not sure what the next series is they'll do to pair up to the other 3 though if Agents of SMASH gets canned, or if they'll try a salvage season to see if they can bring it back up to par to the others. Ultimate Spider-man's been getting interesting too this season, though a bit predictable in spots. Seems like they are building up for some interesting things next season though.

Well despite joining shortly after this site was created the mods have decided to treat me with utter contempt and are letting the bad guy win.

Seems Im getting the punishment for warning you all about a bad trader (FLIPWILSON) and they are gonna allow him to most likely screw other honest folks over without so much as a slap on the wrist.

I cant stick around on a site that allows that sort of thing so Im out.

See you friends its been fun.
