I have questions

I really wish they would stop throwing tattoos on characters just for shits and giggles. Not liking that sleeve on Jinx at all...
This was the reveal that got me the most excited: https://www.toyark.com/forums/attach...1&d=1706838963 Was not expecting them to throw in the Ninja Force helmet...especially for the OG color scheme. That pretty much guaranteed me ordering a couple of him now for sure, when I would have previously settled for one or two. Hopefully they redo him in the wacky Ninja Force neon purples and baby blues at some point. Though...I'm wondering if they opted to actually sculpt his armor onto the body instead of giving him the overlay that Classified figs traditionally have. The ab/torso cut (which is new to classified if im correct) is seen on the render chopping through the armor, breaking it up...but that could just be there to show where the cut lies. I can finally retire my kitbashed Night Creeper...he served me well! https://www.toyark.com/forums/attach...1&d=1706838963 |
Edit: accidentally double posted

My issue with the tattoos is that Hasbro has been going apeshit with it quite a bit recently. If you go all the way back to the Outback/Bazooka wave...all of these figures are covered in them.
Not to mention the upcoming:
I might be missing one or two, but the only onea with short sleeves or bare arms that don't have them are Falcon, Shadow Tracker, Chuckles and Recondo, as well as the upcoming Quick Kick and Big Boa. That's quite the bunch of figures sporting bad prison ink. I'd like to see Hasbro dial it back a bit...especially when modern American military services (while not the deal breaker it once was) still frown upon tattoos, especially when they are below the elbow. |

The tattoos don't bother me much since to me they don't seem out of place for the characters.
Military Tattoo policy varies by branch. I've been working on Navy bases for the past 20 years where it's the most lenient and they can have tattoos pretty much everywhere save for the head/face. Sleeves, neck, etc. All good. But whether that affects perception or promotions? I'm sure it can. I really like that Jinx head. Normally with the classifieds I keep their regular ARAH looks if I can. But I'll probably keep her without her mask. |
Just Torch for me, though Jinx looks way cooler than I expected.
Not sure why there is a debate on her tattoos when practically every woman these days seems to be born with one. |

Is there a comprehensive 6" Joe checklist anywhere?

Scarlett arrived today. Her face is vastly superior as to how it looked on some other photos I have seen. She's really cool looking with nice tight joints, and I love that her crossbow doesn't fall apart just from looking at it wrong. She's got some huge ass weapons that I don't even know if she would actually be able to carry, but okay. For some reason though, the only weapon that has no place to go on her is her handgun. Every other weapon attaches somewhere. Another thing I like is that she has two different types of pony tails, one for stagnate poses and one for action ones.

This might be a dumb question, but how compatible are marvel legends parts with classified series? More specifically, can female marvel legends legs fit on a female classified series hip ball joint? I have an idea for a custom, but I'd like to know before I commit and buy the marvel figure.

It can be done, I was able to improve upon the original Marvel Legends Netflix Punisher using Classified parts. Or course your mileage may vary depending on the parts you choose to use...but there is some compatibility that can be worked across the lines, especially with the MCU figures as they share a similar scale to the Joes. |

The reason I ask is because the local Ollie's finally got some classified series in that wasn't just the movie wave and I grabbed a couple of $5 Zaranas as extras to customize and fool around with. I'm going back there this week to see if I can pick out a Dusty since I never got him back when he came out, and I'm going to look through the marvel legends to see if they have one that would work with one of the Zaranas I bought. I have one in mind that might be perfect, but I'll have to see it in hand to know for sure if the scale is right. |
