I would hope to get a classic Thor and a classic Hulk from a 2nd Ragnarok wave.

You know...surprised I haven't heard any thoughts here on the recent Cloak & Dagger / Runaways castings. I like who they got for C&D, although truthfully I'm worried about how the series will play out since it will be a Disney family show, and the original (non retcon) characters were homeless teenage runaways who got their powers from an experimental form of heroin (before we were told "oh hey...they were mutants all along!"...or...would they end up being inhumans now? Ugh...my head hurts...)

The liberties they are going to take with Dagger's design will be sure to disappoint as well. There is no way Disney is marching out Olivia Holt in that cut out catsuit, despite it being one of the simplest (not to mention coolest looking) super hero costumes out there...

I can't say much about the Runaways as I am not familiar with the book, but I'm hoping C&D aren't ruined, as they have been longtime favorites of mine. Hopefully Disney can get Tom Holland to show up in an episode or two for a team up, since the show will be geared towards young adults.

Actually, C&D is gonna be on Freeform (formerly ABC Family), which is more aimed at teens and young adults these days. My wife watches a number of shows on Freeform, and let me tell you, I doubt there's gonna be much softening, if any (after all, "Pretty Little Liars" is on Freeform, and there's a murder and/or sex scene a week on that show). Dagger's costume will likely be a little less revealing, as you suggested.

Right now, I'm trying to take a "wait and see" approach with Runaways, because half the casting looks really good (also, I'm cool with the change to Molly, since it took the comic until volume 2 to add a Hispanic character - in a series set in LOS ANGELES), the other half fills me with doubt (Gert. Just Gert.).

I've actually never heard of either actor, but I'm eager to see how the show develops now. I've always enjoyed them despite being underutilized in books today, I'd love to see how their story translates to the screen. I worry about people getting super hero fatigue with all of these Marvel and DC shows around, but people keep watching them so maybe we'll never reach that point.

On paper I'm excited for a Cloak and Dagger series but since it will be on freeform I'm very concerned for how it will turn out. I'd hate for the potential to be squandered trying to appeal to the YA crowd.

i can see dagger like this, img below, but at the end of the day varies on the actress if she would or not wear a costume like that....
Also they could release 2 versions of cloak and dagger comic / series dont forget.

I'd say there's about as much chance of her wearing the cut out boob window as there was of Gamora wearing her classic metal bikini and thong in the Guardians movie.;)

The only one on the Runaways casting that bugs me is who they got playing Chase. He doesn't look like a teenager at all, but I guess that's Hollywood for ya.

If they don't wear their actual costumes then it's pointless to bother. I'm tired of plain clothed super heroes and villains. Give me some god damn costumes!!!

There's so much comic book stuff on TV and movies that they are pretty much their own genre at this point, so they should start being treated as such. Award shows need to create a "Comic Book Adaptation" category.

I have more hope for Runaways being good, but it's Hulu, so I won't be able to watch it until it comes out on BD.

Nobody's saying they won't be in costumes, just that they're probably not gonna give Dagger a boob cutout.

I concur.

I can imagine them going plainclothes in Season 1, and if they get a Season 2, they get more recognizable costumes (maybe even provided by Melvin Potter! Eh? Eh?), similar to Daredevil. And, if they do decide to use Melvin Potter to further connect them to other parts of the MCU, I'd imagine that Dagger would have that dagger shape on her chest, but instead of being a boob cutout, it would be an especially armored part, similar to the black areas on Daredevil's costume.

It's Toys Alliance Mega Action Series MAS-01 Optimus Prime. It doesn't transform, but it's crazy poseable with 72 points of articulation.

The one on the throne is Ayesha, who in the comics is also known as Kismet, is basically a female clone of Adam Warlock, and is unrelated to the Church of Universal Truth as far as I can tell.

Should be retitled "The Clowns of the Galaxy". Can they only talk with jokes and/or punchlines?? Not the kind of super-heroes I'm paying €10 to see... Logan on the other hand, Hell Yeah!!
