There's supposed to be a Miles Morales variant, which is the one i'd probably get.

EDIT* ^^yea, that lol

Jason Abbadon 05-29-2012 10:50 PM

It might just be the paint or the photo but th eyes on that Morales Spidey look lie raised detail. That would be cool.
I was thinking you could take the vest from a Patriot, put it on Spidey and start a Noir Spidey...which would be cool as heck.

For me, Spidey is trade fodder (now nothing about Morales) but the rest (!)....I'm not that big a Kraven guy but his head looks great for Count Nefaria!
Nefaria is one of Marvel's toughest baddies on Earth- beating the hell out of Avengers and Thunderbolts at the same time! Olus he got Thunderbird killed...

Now we need a Quasar! I love Wendell and he deserves a figure- add Ronan and Ikon and we'll have all the Annhiliators!

Hmmm... I could do some parts swaps with Kraven and make him a Zombie- I have xetra Zombie Viper hands and I could drill a huge hole where he blew his brains out...

SH0CKWAVE 05-29-2012 10:53 PM

I know... I'm hoping the MM Spidey ships in this batch of pre orders. That would be legit.

wolverine2281 05-29-2012 10:55 PM

hopefully different e-tailers whill ship different cases like BBTS and HTS (and Kokomo) did with ML

BTW, $80??? Geez!

I've seen a bunch of Banes at my Target, holla if you need one.

Ditto, that makes ordering the case from BBTS much more better.

I wonder how many of us ordered a case from there:p Must be the Marvel crack withdrawal:p

I just see Kraven as another much needed classic villain :). never heard of neferia though, i'm about to wiki him.

and yes! we need the heralds of galactus too! I think BRB and Nova are my most anticipated figures from the next few waves (also Hulk, Punisher and Hercules).

LapuLapu 05-29-2012 11:04 PM

Youd think Hasbro would wise up and use the new articulated buck but noooo someone at Hasbro is snoozzzing at the desk.

Cheaper to just do a straight repaint.

I think the bucks- their molds that is- must be in a set. That would explain why we dont see mix and match parts to mae the figs better- That Soider Morales fig can be upgraded easily with Doctor Strange legs, but they generally dont do that- CP Spidey and light up base Hulk being the only exceptions I know of- and those only for the upper leg swivel..

Also consider that useing the Steve Rogers badass buck would place Morales at 6.2" tall- as tall as Cap!
No Spidey should be that tall. (I'm kinda a scale freak at times)

BBTS MU Pre-Order 2012 Series 1 Set of 5

Now I'm off to bed!

Omg I did not know they had them up thanks

Agreed they have gotten the last 2 waves faster

Ninjinister 05-29-2012 11:35 PM

Okay guys, t/f

FF Spidey's variant is supposed to be Bag-Man.

It just seems like a weird variant for that specific figure.

yep. there's also supposed to be either a Peter Parker or unmasked Spidey variant as well

Jason Abbadon 05-29-2012 11:44 PM

Cool- I've long said there should be unmasked version of the characters- though they should be extra heads standard, not variants.

megajonzero 05-29-2012 11:44 PM

If anyone has a black widow and hawkeye/skrull that they would like to trade for movie masters Alfred please let me know (unless I find them tomorow)

exactly. like wave 16 Tony

Heroguy70 05-30-2012 12:33 AM

Just got my Avengers 4 pack today! Hulk is dreamy. Hawkeye is great - now I have 2 extras (should set up my b/s/t). This Iron Man was the original reason I started buying MU. I love the classic look. In the comics, IM always did look too skinny to be wearing a suit!

Right, like they did with modern War Machine. I would still end up buying two.

Yeah- like Retaliation Zartan or the Joe Trooper- those guys come with multiple heads- we know MU can do this if they can make bigass figures like Hulk or Thanos, then figs with 1/3 the plastic like Peter could get a little head.

It would not be more plastic than the accessories Kraven or BRB has to make an unmasked head where it applies- Iron Man, Spidey, Cyclops (with glasses!)...you get the idea. The plastic thing is maybe why Puck comes with a snow-birdie or Spiey that silly backpack, but an alternate head- eve if it's just an angry or shouting face, wold be preferable to me.

It need only apply to secret identity or masked hero types- bozos like Bullseye or Electro would not qualify as we dont care what they look like- but guys like Iron Fist or the Human Torch would be way better for habing the option.

I never thought I'd have a BRB in 3.75- a freakin drream come true since I started colecting comics and figures with the original Seret Wars!

I was just working on a cosmic custom to beat on the cosmic heroes too...cant wait for Nova for the diorama...

Will do.

That's precisely why they released the MJ figure.
