Plus she's a classic Avenger.

I think Phyla is an important character for a number of reasons that got the short end of the stick in the comics and she does deserve a figure.

@Kamatayan, Redfox:
Thanks for the compliment on my Dio and pics!

Hopefully she'll get one soon too. Since Mantis should be high on the list of figures for that wave near GOTG2, hopefully Phyla in her Martyr costume will get one too around then.

Not my first choice from her closet.

*Shrug*
I like this costume best because it kind of breaks up the monotony of the typical superhero costumes. One of her other suits is too Captain Marvel, and the sun sword one is kinda bleh to me with the asymmetrical design it uses.

We are more likely to get the sun sword one though.

What'd be really awesome is getting a comic pack of Phyla Vell and Moondragon though. That'd rock. (I'd probably skip Mantis if she's not comic packed with a figure I do want.)

They really need to make some more cosmic level villians for all these heroes to battle. Thanos and Galactus just don't seem like enough any more. Cosmic entities are sorry missing from the marvel/legends line

"Waves hand all jedi like" You WANT to send this most EXCELLENT custom to me. ;)

Autobot_Goldbug 07-03-2016 04:50 PM

I finally found the Living Laser wave at TRU. I got him, Gamora, & Vision. There was only one Gamora & one Laser.

LordMudd 07-03-2016 05:45 PM

The more I look at that Sif, the more the mouth bothers me.

Can you name some besides Thanos, Galactus, the Heralds, Ronan, the celestials and elders?

Cause I'm drawing blanks on real cosmic threats that aren't simply other alien races like the Shi'ar, Inhumans, Kree, and Skrulls. Dire Wraiths are about the only other thing that comes to mind. (Which would rock if Rom gets a 3.75'' figure line!)

Everything else that comes to mind were temporary miniseries things like the 'Cancerverse' versions of heroes.

Maybe a Phalanx troop builder figure?

LordMudd 07-03-2016 06:27 PM

I don't think I have seen a non custom Super Skrull.

Living Laser and Gamora are each only one per case so everything was normal.

Well we do already have Kang the conqueror who is regarded across the universe and all of time as an immense threat (he showed up in DnA's GotG to actually help the Guardians but then in Uncanny Avengers he gained the powers of a Celestial and threatened reality as it was). Plus we have figures of Ultron who held all of the advanced races of the universe in great peril during Annihilation: Conquest. We also have Blastaar who while not a huge threat is a threat all the same.
As for other space themed big bad villains an Annihilus figure would be greatly appreciated. Others could be the Magus (evil Adam Warlock), Sphinx (Anath-Na Mut who when in possession of both of his Ka Stones becomes godlike), Vulcan (cosmically a threat enough to wage war on the Inhumans), or Mephistopheles (who plays at cosmic villainy because of how both the Silver Surfer and Adam Warlock have bested him). To name a few who have yet to get figures in this line.

Um... of course?

The only course of action outside of a custom would to be to use a different scale.

LordMudd 07-03-2016 09:55 PM

Those are some great suggestions. The evil adam warlock/Magus I think should be in the cards eventually. If he's getting introduced into the MCU, it'd make sense that storyline about Magus and the Church etc might make it into the movies later too. So his figure shouldn't be too far off.

Vulcan I figure they'll do at some point, they started the imperial guard with Gladiator. So I expect more shi'ar eventually. They already did Darkhawk and Blackbolt too.

Superskrull is a good one. And tbh, the already have the parts for that mostly.

I always forget that the negative zone counts as cosmic entities, so yeah, there's Annihilus they could do. Though if the 3.75'' line ever tried a BAF, Annihilus would be a good one for that because of the amount of parts he's got with his wings, and his slightly larger size while being a slimmer figure. There's also the Brood, and the rest of the Warbound.

The technarky would be a hard one to do, but they could in theory.

Got a Wolverine animated 3 3/4 Toad for under $5 shipped on eBay. I like Toad, but this isn't my preferred version. I just decided I might as well add one to the collection and with the current climate this might be the only official one.

I do really want a Forge from this line. Again not perfect, but at least it's 3 3/4 and an official Hasbro release. The figure is crazy expense though.

Anyone else have the problem with Sam Wilson captain america that they made his shield clip too small to fit his wrist?

I ended up swapping shields for the Bucky Cap one so I could put it on his back, but I'm kinda wishing they gave his shield the straps too. Not a big deal for me since in my MU/MI/Marvel Legends 3.75'' main display I try to keep it to the most recent versions of characters. Though I'm still not sure if I'll ever swap the Commander Rogers figure out if they do the newest Steve Rogers suit. I'm torn on that one still.

Gotta admit after getting Jane Foster Thor and Sam Wilson Cap, I really want to get the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel now, and hopefully they'll make the international Ironman armor soon too. Loving the look of these modern Avengers figures together.

Well finally got my panther agent 13 pack at tru. I checked online and it said my local store had one so I called the guy was cool it was in the backroom he put it at the counter. Sadly I decided to look around the store more since I hadn't been there in a few weeks. As I was looking notice the same worker had come to 3 different aisles after I would go to them. I had a funny feeling so I went to the bike section and she popped up there too. I went to the bathroom and heard her tell an employee she needed help with a Jeffery. Not Jeffery she literally said "A Jeffery" as I left the bathroom she was there in the play mobile aisle didn't the perfectly straight boxes. I went all the way to electronics and cut back to figures and lost her. I happen to see from around a corner as she called to see if the Jeffery had left. I decided to walk to her and said who's Jeffery? No answer. She simply walked away mitering to herself. When I got to my car I looked back as I pulled off to see her mean mugging my car. I called the store and told the manager this since I didn't have my phone I couldn't record any of this but the manger rufused to say what a Jeffery was and even tried insinuating thhat no worker I described existed. Should I try taking this higher or just record all my visits to tru??

It's code for shoplifter, hence why she tried to not break line of sight.

I figured but I've never done such a thing and I've shopped this location since 92 so it's kinda of a kick to the neck since I've talked and laughed with this lady.
