I'll admit I was scared of messing with Batgirl but I'd say she's insanely well put together for such a thin figure.

Glad to hear your Batgirl was good. DC did improve the joint plastic where they were not instant break out of the box but the Animated line is far from not having problems. My local comic shop has a a few in the return stack about every other week from various issues. Case in point my first Joker broke at the right knee when moved the first time because I didn't use heat and my second still has a chunk of plastic missing at one joint because it came that way.

I still buy them due to my unconditional love of the Animated Series but in all honesty the paint rubs more than it should on these figures and the plastic they use is too brittle for my liking. Lastly joints still are sticking out of the package leading to some breakage for some especially if they are not careful.

How the hell did they screw up that Batman so badly?

Trivial Psychic 12-17-2015 06:18 PM

Finally ran into Mozar tonight, and not just one, but a plethora of them. Was really hard to resist the urge not to army build them, as the Triceratons have always been one of my favorite characters from the TMNT lore...

Nope, I'm still a little salty that the variant was Red She-Hulk, instead of Jen in her Byrne-era Fantastic Four uniform, plus, I'm not a huge fan of the Hulk comics overall, so I won't be adding Red She-Hulk to my Bishoujo collection.

phantasm set at my LCS was selling for $45 bucks... not sure how much the online pricing was. as for the first batch, now that i think about it , i didn't want any of them other then twoface. i might just pick some up when i have extra funds. i only currently have the Harley from the TAS. still haven't unboxed her yet.

$45 still doesn't sound bad, it's cheaper than just buying two figures on their own.
Two-Face is the only one I have from the first four and I don't really intend to go back for the other three. I'll have TAS Batman once I get the Phantasm pack, I don't like Freeze enough to warrant getting him, and Catwoman I'm just okay with not having her animated look.

As soon as i head back to my LCS, more then likely that'll be a definite purchase for me. i prefered TAS look for batman rather then the TNAS version.

Well yeah. As I've said before though I think Two-Face looks really good with the slick streamlined look of TNBA, he rocks broader shoulders and a sharper suit

It's a great figure. The articulation isn't great compared to MU, but it's a great sculpt and paint.

lack of articulation doesn't really bother me. I'm good as long as the sculpt is great.
