the latter :D

Agreed. Such a wasted character.

Have you seen his story arc in The Clone Wars though? It's freaking awesome.

Today's mail arrival. Been wanting this guy for awhile.

Kirathis 12-24-2015 11:20 AM

Avengers set came in today. They definitely look better in person than in the sale photos.

Yeah they pretty much reinvented the character (not hard to do though since he wasn't much of one anyway) for that show but I feel like they actually did him justice there. It combined Darth Maul, Mandalorians, and actual consequences into probably the darkest Clone Wars story (I mash both Maul story arcs into one since the second picks up story-wise right after the first).

The last figure I was waiting for (Captain America) arrived just now! Nothing pending until next year. There it is...complete Marvel lineup.

Merry Christmas to all!

Seriously Raf...those are too nice to enjoy from inside the box. Take those out and play with them! You can always put them back in when you're done!

I can handle it...as long as it isn't Darth Vader I'm fine!

Yes I am (except hulk cause I already have an extra one)! I was just waiting for captain to arrive from Japan. Those figs are too nice to keep MOC like you said.

Kirathis 12-24-2015 03:37 PM

Awesome set Raf. I just wish the Marvel figures were a bit more reasonably priced. I have not pulled that trigger yet although I'm sure I will. Looking forward to seeing your setup with them all unboxed.

Thx bro! I'll make sure I post pics once I do. I'll have Santa deliver the Super Mario and the latest DBZ Figuarts tonight! Lol

In keeping with Raf's theme...

S.H.MonsterArts

http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...224_133105.jpg

After eyeing him for some time, I was finally was able to nab the Heavy Armored version of Wolf at a really gentle price (more than half off the retail!) In hand, he actually feels a lot better than the original Wolf (which I also have.) It's awesome to finally have the set, and I'll probably be picking up a Warrior Xeno or two next. (Sorry Big Chap...but you're not included in this discussion. You were ugly!)

Barring any Christmas gifts or pre-orders that get added to the pile of loot before the end of the year, this will probably be the last pick up of what's been a very good 2015. =)

More than half off?! What's that put him at, $25 to $30?

I know a lot of people are impartial to the NECA Preds, and as you know I collect that line too, but I think the MonsterArts Predator is superior to the NECA Preds in every way except scale. In addition to being my favorite on screen Predator, the articulation on him is awesome, and the details (such as the diecast parts) are awesome. He works great in scale with Marvel Legends, and like I'm sure you've never worried about your S.H.Figurearts, I've never worried about him breaking right out of the package as I have with my NECA ones.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on NECA, as I LOVE their Predator line, but outside of the Hot Toys figures, I honestly think the Wolf by Monster Arts was one of the best Predator Figures ever made...

Here's some shots of my original Wolf...I haven't had a chance to take out the new one and goof around with him yet...

I paid $25.99 plus $4.99 for shipping from an American seller, so I got him just in time for Christmas. =) Not bad for a figure that can average over $80 depending on where you shop!

Kirathis 12-24-2015 05:32 PM

Nice snag Trivial! Not into Predator/Aliens but any time you can get an awesome Figuarts figure for a good price is a win. Congrats!
