@Exodus I got it from the Chinese seller, true his shoulders blend well with this sculpt. Also did everyone that got the RH notice that you can't twist the hips to the left but can twist right and once you do a full 360 it makes a clicking sound. I thought it was weird also it might just me mine

LapuLapu 05-30-2012 09:04 PM

Maybe OV forgot , but if anyone has the Black Cobra Commander from the retaliation movie , can someone please swap the head with the Cap A movie Red Skull if its even possible?

I'm planning to do that with the Dollar General Cobra Commander. I should be getting him and a bunch of the others by UPS tommorow. (fingers crossed smiley face)

Hmmm, slow day? Been a good 10 pages a day plus for the past week. Miss a couple of days, and shit, 60 some odd pages to catch up on!!!!

Recap time: well lets see, I miss the eBay Chinese Rulk and Invisible Woman, boo! Missed GI Joe's, Avengers wave 3...fuck. Went hunting today in west Houston, dead. TRU was wack, only had Destro's and 1st wave Avengers and LUB. Target was weak, had Joe's on clearance for 6 bucks, only 2 crappy figures. Wal-Mart, nothing...someone had bought all the Super Poseable Spidey's at all the stores, and wiped them all out at Wal-Mart. The only thing that was consistent was Transformers (looking at you LM).

Very nice set up Phantasm88!!! Loving the custom Skrull LM. I hope to hit Baytown tomorrow if the other local who I can't remember his name at the moment, hasn't already hit up my secret hunting grounds, lol. (Been busting ass at work the past week, has me a bit behind on this site and hunting.)

Ah ok thanks, so he's most likely going to be in the 3 pack Avenger's when it does come out cool.

Please do post pics of the head swap as Im lookin for a suitable body for Red Skull.

SH0CKWAVE 05-30-2012 09:37 PM

I have always preferred CA Red Skull carded version. Napoleonic RS works for me... but I get it. There are so many cool possibilities when it comes to this guy.

Very cool. I always wanted to do that project on mine. Nice work! They came out nice. I had some trials and errors on filing down the bobbing pins. The damn things won't stay straight, so I put it off.

Lol. How do the hulk's pants stay stretchy? Must be those pajama jeans.

My cousins had four or five laptops running and made friends with the F5 button to get their tickets. This year the tickets sold out on the website after 2 hours or so.

All the major Hollywood studios were out in full force that year and by the next year they sold out long in advance. Ever since it's been a real pain. I think that being up in Canada has put me at a disadvantage for getting tickets because both times it took like five minutes to get in the waiting room and we had 3 computers running. Heard the same thing from many outside the US.

Sorry to hear that fellas but Iceman and Scottmurdock is right. Since 2007, SDCC has been getting ridiculous. I blame hollywood and Twilight. Every year, its been getting sooo crowded there and I'm starting to see more scalper prices from the other vendors too.

First day hunting in a week. Haul of the day. Went to two Wallmarts (which didn't have crap) and three Targets. Found most of the stuff here at Target. Only one of the three targets had the ultra poseable spidey. The only one I didn't see was Venom.

Pick up two Ultra Poseable Spideys (one's for Greenskar), Ben Reilly Spidey (might make another Spider-Carnage), Future Foundation pack (I remember someone asking for one, pm me if interested). Then got some Joes since Hisstank was saying that stores weren't going to restock them anytime soon since the movie delay. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find them. Storm Shadow(he's got rocker ankles, YES), 2 red ninjas, Zartan, a trooper for custom fodder and Black Suit Cobra Commander (are there two version of this guy? Which one is the variant? I've only seen the black suit one.)
http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...4/DSCN7530.jpg

Also got my order in from the Chinese Seller. Rulk, Invisible Woman Variant, Red Hand Ninja, Black Hand Ninja, Dr. Strange variant, and Forge for the hell of it. Not too shabby as far as I can say. They are in good condition. I'm really liking the new Rulk and Invisible Woman variant. I should have picked up two for the price he had them at, Doh!

What If Rulk got the Gauntlet instead of Tony? The thanos gauntlet doesn't line up as good but I HAD to take this picture.

Ninjinister 05-30-2012 11:43 PM

Good to see someone else got a Forge from them. I'd never seen the figure before so I just *had* to snatch him up.

It's way dumber in The Hulk when Scott Lobdell is writing: He had a bunch of Marvel heroes get gamma irradiated and turned into Hulks- one of them was BUckycap.
Somehow the gamma radiation not only made him hulked out but...his bionic arm too.

Yes, really.

1andonly5711 05-31-2012 03:48 AM

moving figures to a new place exciting... moving figures accross the f ing room most annoying thing ever

Fit is very close. It sits a little loose, but nothing a little Quakehold couldn't take care of.

Thanks, yeah it can be a bitch sometimes. I try to do as little filing as possible so I use wire cutters or the inside piece of some pliers to clip them at an angle to get the claw tips.

That does look very nice! I can totally see that look in a comic book crossover!
