You know, the typical marketing spin buzz word stuff with some gentle prodding at fans.

Ha ha that sounds like him! He's such a (rock) troll to us 3.75" collectors. Oh well.

Zootopia. A city choking on its on bile. Theft drugs organized crime and corruption at the highest levels of government.5 boroughs all teeming with animal life. All ready to kill each other at the drop of a hat. Only one thing in this urban jungle stands between predator and prey. The Law.

I watched that a few weeks ago with the kids... Don't hate me but I liked the movie a lot. I was looking at that toyline today thinking if the polar bear mobster was bigger he would make a descent kingpin (who we are still waiting on hasbro, can never have enough spidey villians, or a super articulated comic spidey for that matter).

Not the research I want to do. I want to look at his responses to questions about 3 3/4 inch figures, and see if I can get any definitive answer on whether or not he ACTUALLY hates this scale like some people imply. I mean, sure, he dodges questions about it like Neo dodged bullets in the Matrix, but I'd like to study his reactions en masse.

Marshalls/TJ Maxx have the first wave of Infinite Black Cat, Beasts, Bishop etc for $9.99

I wish the vehicles had been made a bit larger her police cruiser would be so kick ass if it could hold 3-4 inch figs

^ I'll have to look at the vehicles, I wish this guy was bigger for a kingpin:

Go to YouTube and type "Dwight stall", the second video that comes up (by hunterknight4) he gets asks about the reduced articulation. Lots of spin IMO, you can just see his mannerisms and expression change to like "ah crap I have to answer this again" vs the enthusiasm he shows when talking about the 6" stuff. Speaking of BAFs man they really maximize the value on the 6" and minimize value on 3.75".

Thanks for whoever threw out the tip on Gamestop. I think it was a few weeks ago but I just got around to checking finally added Chameleon, Emma Frost, Vulture and Doc Ock to my collection. Left behind Shanna, Thunderstrike, Northstar and Korg but hopefully they will be there later when I go back.

Okay, just watched it(and apparently, I had watched it last year as well), and whilst I do see how you could get a lot of that, I also see how that could be him preparing for possible fanboy hate. I mean, people had been raging at this new lack of articulation since the very beginning, and perhaps he wasn't sure how reasonable some people would be. I certainly wasn't in a reasonable state last year(partially due to the figures being really bland last year), and I'm sure others were in a similar state.

Then again, I also noticed how he mentioned the "full points at the ankles" when the ankles never went away, and how his smile at the end seemed pretty fake, but that's a bit subjective. My main purpose in this research is to try and see both possibilities and help myself and others draw conclusions for themselves. I want to streamline the process for everyone else.

As far as I know its not that difficult to convert the Cruiser to hold 4'' figures. You only have to open it up and cut the section from the legs/feet. I think that is major problem no room for the longer legs. If in term of height its ok doing only this it is not that difficult.

She's awesome; nice work on those shots, the perspective was well done on the blue effects.

Vonner is a member over on another group, this question was put to him in the past and that was pretty much his response, which was backed up by the fact hasbro released several waves and rebrands.

I don't think that the lighting on the face in that shot is really that flattering looking for the sculpt. Don't get me wrong, those photos are fucking rad! I just think that their Emma sculpt is really difficult to photograph because it just looks straight-up weird depending on the angle and lighting.

Quick question, has anyone ever ordered from HTS and received multiples of your order? I caved and bought the Emma, colosonaut, wave minus blue DP, and a spare omega red for 4 bucks, the whol order was like 69$, I come home a few days later and find two boxes from HTS on my door step both are full orders with exact copies of the packing list. I was only charged once. I called customer service and they said if I use theyre return system I'll get a refund, which wouldn't be right because I got my order. They said if I send it back without a return number from them it goes in the trash. So two days after I called to straighten it out I come home and they had sent me the whole order a third time! It's starting to look like someone at the fulfillment center has altimeters.

Same thing happened to me a few years back but with Mattycollector.com...I got 3 of the DCU Freddy Freeman figs and I can't remember what was the MOTUC figs I got at the time, but, I called them and long story short, they just told me to keep them. I ended up giving them away.

That's kind of awesome, Emma makes for great custom fodder.

Comic packs seem to be moving at a decent pace. Saw the newest wave of them today when checking for Titans Return Wheelie.

Still no restocking on the single carded, but at least Gamora is in wave 3 of the comic packs, so I'll probably be able to find her then at least.

I wonder if that's a better sales trend or something about certain areas only where two packs move at a better rate than single carded. Cost effect-wise, you are saving money buying a two pack over 2 single carded anyway.

Maybe that could prove beneficial to the future of the line.

Also on another note, rebranding isn't indicative of a line's decline. Transformers and GI Joe have done the rebranding for ages. It's a point of circumventing inventory overflow to get the new material on shelves. "Refreshing" the packaging makes retailers view it as a new line, which causes the figures the get back on shelves as retailers clearance out the older inventory to make room.

MU tried this with the logo changes on the same packaging, but the variation wasn't enough to satisfy retailers on it being "newer products" which is what led to Marvel Infinite, and then what's now Marvel Legends 3.75''. And the packaging refreshing will happen again later. It's a market staple. If you're a GI Joe fan or Transformers fan, you should already be aware of this. Classics didn't end when it changed to generations, or reveal the shield, or combiner wars or even titans return, it simply shifted gears to a new focus to still give us more figures in that same vein with a new way to reach shelves.

This seems to be the practice that the Marvel 3.75'' line is trying to keep the figures coming. Retailer support still seems to be a little on the slow side though. My local TRUs are still trying to unload Uliks and Tritons before they restock. But the sell through rate on comic packs seems to be steady.

My areas are sitting on the first wave of comic packs which sucks..where did you see the newest comic pack from?

Some quick pics:

Movie Deadpool and Colossus (nuts, just noticed I've forgotten to fully sculpt Colossus's belt), CW: Black Panther (added some height in the thighs and Cap is a spare CW Cap with an AOU deco), and a couple of Work in Progress young Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas version)

Oh, forgot to add my latest (and hopefully last) version of Melinda May. The Agent 13 base figure works for me (just add head and belt). In terms of uniform detailing, also got the Monster Customs HYDRA and SHIELD logo's pack so will add shoulder patches sooner rather than later.

Thats what I want mine to look like when I get an extra Agent 13, although she'll need black trousers & a navy paint in the jacket body.
