Marvel Civil War Captain America Legends Series 3.75 inch Action Figure - Black Panther and Marvel's Agent 13 - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us

Just a word of caution, I ordered this twice, once directly from the TRU website, once through the TRU ebay store. Both times I was sent the wrong item (the Captain America/Iron Man pack).

Haha I know, I don't even think scalper's would try to scalp it? Although who knows though...they did scalp that tiny Ant-Man that was like a buck or something...
I paid $40 for that with shipping! It is kind of cute...

I wish they would make those big MU's again like they did with Sentinel and Galactus.
Me too. I wish they made that Bad Goliath they teased when they made Zemo. He was on the packaging of the Helicarrier with Zemo and Whirlwind.

Speaking of BAFs man they really maximize the value on the 6" and minimize value on 3.75".
They really do. If 6" were priced like 3.75" they would cost, like $50-60. As it is they cost about 25% more, which is why I still think the 3.75" line is being used to subsidise the 6" line.

If and when I get a spare then I'll do this, but for now as I only have one I keep the option of displaying as either May of Carter!

Movie Deadpool and Colossus (nuts, just noticed I've forgotten to fully sculpt Colossus's belt), CW: Black Panther (added some height in the thighs and Cap is a spare CW Cap with an AOU deco), and a couple of Work in Progress young Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas version)

That Colossus looks amazing!

Local TRUs.
And I've already heard about New York and Cali restocking into them too among some other areas.

So soon as your stores sell through on those they should be the next ones they stock.

But both my local TRUs seemingly only ordered 1 case of the first wave, and what looks like only 2 cases of this wave. The store seems very hesitant to fully commit a large order which is working well for quicker re-orders/restocking overall. This time the peg was full and it'll probably take close to 3 weeks to a month for it to sell through completely. Not sure. Not expecting those Hyperion packs to move all that well, but maybe there are enough of the sinister Squadron comic fans locally that they will.

This is one of those rare instances I expect the spider-man pack to sell at a decent pace because of kids wanting them from the Ultimate Spider-man episodes. Though I would have thought the same about Triton really. The Captain Marvel pack will probably sell first since it appeals to classic fans and modern fans both.

I like Triton. I can see the logic of having another character to interact with Namor, but then I always could. I have learned to expect that the majority of people lack this degree of vision, so it makes sense to me that he isn't that popular. I would expect the masses to want a Crystal figure first because she has actually been an Avenger. I am surprised we don't have her yet because the first Black Widow figure, with the straight hair, would be perfect for her.

What head is that??

I think Triton was probably a disappointment to some people owing to the lack of scales. Could be wrong as it's a while since I saw one in the wild but Hasbro didn't even try to replicate them with paint apps. Agree that Crystal could have been an easy re-paint and wouldn't surprise me if sometime down the line she came as a comic 2 pack with Lockjaw!

Autobot_Goldbug 07-12-2016 04:01 PM

My 3rd option TRU did restock the Gamora wave singles.
Rage seems to be the biggest peg warmer from those.
No new comic packs at all.
In fact Meijer put there's on sale for $15.99 in hopes of moving them out.

Well, I was thinking since he was in Ultimate Spider-man, he has higher profile exposure to kids right now than Crystal and others do. The figure captures his animated show usage really well in detail.

I have not seen the Gamora wave here at all.

Because I don't have a Facebook for personal reasons, and don't want to get one just to shoot a message at the great and mighty Dave Vonner in whom all 3 3/4 inch action figures are awesome.

I would have expected to see Gorgon before Triton because even he has had more face time in the comics than Triton has, but I would not expect him to do well.

Didn't see anything at TJ Maxx, but did see Bishop, Gray Beast, and Hawkeye at Marshalls.

Gorgon doesn't have toon exposure really though, so no exposure to kid markets at all.

Same reason I'm not seeing Ulik, and Yondu move at all. The only real animated exposure Gorgon has had was 90s Fantastic 4.

Triton has no Ultimate Spider-man figure, and the spider-men comic pack seems aimed at that market too. Maybe he'll move more now once kids see the comic pack and realize they can collect their toon heroes from that toy line too.

The Carol Danvers captain marvel seems to be moving decently though. She was the first to disappear at all local TRUs.

The Ironman machine man comic pack peg warmed for a bit though.

Legends 3.75 seems to be trying to strike a balance between comic exposure heavy hitters as well as major toon cameo characters with some fan faves thrown in.

My 2 pack Iron Man's leg fell off at the thigh swivel.

Cool Agent May. I so want to make one, but I'm running out of space and I don't want to "retire" any of the figures I have on display now.

BTW, where did you get the logo stickers? I'm not familiar with "Monster Customs". I have a Coulson and Baron Strucker that could use insignias.

Thanks for the compliment. She definitely has a unique face sculpt. I go back and forth from really liking it and then nitpicking details.

Thanks! Yeah, from certain perspectives she looks 100% severe/pissed off. Kinda goes with her character though. Ha!

Same boat. I did see a Vision at a comic shop 3 hours away. He was severely price jacked, so I didn't bite.

Marvel Civil War Captain America Legends Series 3.75 inch Action Figure - Black Panther and Marvel's Agent 13 - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us

It's about damn time. I haven't seen any 3.75" Civil War figs at TRU except the Cap/bike.

I don't see the Cap/IM set on there. Am I just overlooking it?

Daredevil 07-13-2016 01:23 AM

Has anyone found or heard anything new on the Falcon Deluxe Civil War figure? Been looking for it, but have only found the Cap/Bike pack and those two packs.
