I'm kind of torn on BAF at times. Usually if it's a wave I mostly want and I do want the BAF I'm fine with getting the wave, and obviously if it's a wave that I want all of, and not a fan of the BAF, it doesn't matter, I'll have it anyways because I'm getting the whole wave (the only BAF I've completed and let go of was Space Venom because I just can't with that.) The only real issue is when I don't care about most of the wave but I want the BAF badly, which fortunately has only happened once with the Hulkbuster wave.

BAF selection can be just like any other figure, great ideas or passable. I do dislike when they make a regular sized figure out of the BAF because it really misses an opportunity to give us something larger than a general mold wouldn't. Though I wouldn't give up my Jubilee for anything.

I would say I'm a half addict.

Back on the map, got these in the mail. Finally, some trickle down of some of the new Marvel Legends...Went to Walgreens this morning to see if the GOTG Wave 2 was in, but nada! Can't wait to see them in the wild!...Hey, question to all Arkers?..Do you think we will ever get some vehicles, aircrafts or ships for ML 6 inch? Man, a Quinjet or and Punisher's van or Blade's Charger...Hopefully one day...Just getting a little tired of collecting figures only...Happy Hunting...

Welcome back! Good luck on the hunt.

As for vehicles, I doubt it. Maybe motorcycles for Logan/GR but that's about it. I say this because scale is the issue. They had a ton of parts and molds for vehicles, but it's all for the 3.75 line size or less. They would require upscaling everything, and unless it's a small vehicle (small cost, small packaging, less shelf space all equals more $$), I can't see them investing in it.

That's not to say I wouldn't want some of them to be made. I would love a quinjet, blackbird and even a Thanos-copter lol.

Congrats. Oh man, I'm not a big fan of vehicles usually but damn a Punisher Van would be awesome.

Also if anyone is looking for cheap figures. HTS has a couple figures from Abom and Giant Man for $10 each along with 10%off and free shipping so I was able to get CA/IM, Ironskull/SW CA for $38 shipped. Didn't really want the figure but for that cheap can't find the BAF part for less than that.

UpDog 02-16-2017 09:08 AM

I too doubt vehicles so i been searching for some that will work. Ive found ninja turtles stuff ( mainly the movie bikes ) are compatible as well as old chuck norris karate commandos corvette. Also the mid 2000's pizza carl van and the black motorcycle and a few other vehicles.

warmachine6 02-16-2017 12:47 PM

characters that require vehicles i think really goes for one which is ghostrider i would say the heroes that ride bikes sure, but i cant see them doing larger vehicles.

Sorry, must have ended yesterday. I just checked the page and it said nothing about valentines day offer.

Early Cuyler 02-16-2017 03:06 PM

GROOT. Said it was dated for 3/1, but they were on the pegs with a price, so they sold it anyways. No hassle. Love the face expression and the baby groots. Need a Gamora and Rocket now too. Ive got the cheap $7 Rocket that came out last summer.

Damn she looks good! How's the arm movement? Does the armor get in the way?

donmeca2020 02-17-2017 06:51 AM

So considering everyone is now finding the new GOTG wave in stores, when does Amazon usually ship theirs out, which have been preordered?

Angela is something of a hot mess when it comes to posing. The armor pieces on the elbows are seperate pieces, and need to be fiddled with at times. In addition, the belt/skirt/sword sheathe fit somewhat loose on the body, and are also figidy. The head is unable to really use its articulation as well, thanks to the large hairpiece. Side to side movement is hampered, as is up and down being non-existant, and the hair comes down far enough that it even limits backwards movement of the arms (which still do not have bicep swivels...come on Hasbro...) You can still get some cool poses out of her, but it's a lot of work and the execution of the figure really gets in the way and hamper the fun a bit. Cool figure, but I'm sure it could have been pulled off a bit better. Just not exactly sure how.

Amazon has their ship out day listed as March 3rd, which I believe is the street date. They could always bump it up as they have in the past, but that is the most likely date.

Captain Nash 02-17-2017 08:46 AM

Tomorrow is Toy Fair! I think we will end up hitting page 1000 during the Fair dates (though Tuesday) as posting tends to pick up a bit during those times. So excited! I know that usually SDCC is more informative but we had a good Toy Fair last year with the X-men reveals. I'm confident we're going to see some great stuff over the next five days!!!

I'm ready to get my Darkhawk. And i need one of those stands you told me about to give him that flying in the air look.

Who is hoping we see a finished sculpt of Spectrum? That may be something I'm looking forward to more than anything after the X-wave. Though the Thor wave would be good to see. also wonder if they may give us some kind of tease on what the Songbird figure for next year will look like (not a sculpt obviously but maybe a photograph for a general idea.)

If anyone is looking for the Guardians of the Galaxy ML figures , They are all available to order ( except Nova for some reason) from Hasbrotoyshop right now. I ordered Angela, Darkhawk , and Yondo. to get free shipping. They are shipping soon from them.

Is that Kurt Russell confirmed to be a legends figure?

Gosh, I know everyone gets older, but it's just so weird seeing actors of movies I watched in the 80s looking age wise like the actors from the 60's I watched in movies at that time. (I hope that makes sense.)
