well thats a shame really!

@Redfox some female figures look off,i really thought they would get frosts look right facially.but im not too bothered because im sure theres a perfect head swap out there somewhere.
on a seperate note,i wish i was on the level of jin or glenn webb as far as custom figures are concerned because i think i just stumbled across the base pieces for a custom holocaust.

We were unsure at first on whether or not it would be released. But a few people on Youtube have reviewed it and it has popped up on eBay so it looks like we're gonna get it.

Ninjinister 07-13-2016 05:54 AM

Anybody see the second Ant-Man ("Giant Man") 2.5 anywhere yet?

I've yet to see it. It's gonna be a pain to make a new growth collection since he changed his costume.

BTW, where did you get the logo stickers? I'm not familiar with "Monster Customs". I have a Coulson and Baron Strucker that could use insignias.

Villano,

look for SHIELD decals on EBay. That's where I found them!

Dang that sucks...I already have the set and got it price adjusted yesterday so I'm good.

And I've already heard about New York and Cali restocking into them too among some other areas.

So soon as your stores sell through on those they should be the next ones they stock.

But both my local TRUs seemingly only ordered 1 case of the first wave, and what looks like only 2 cases of this wave. The store seems very hesitant to fully commit a large order which is working well for quicker re-orders/restocking overall. This time the peg was full and it'll probably take close to 3 weeks to a month for it to sell through completely. Not sure. Not expecting those Hyperion packs to move all that well, but maybe there are enough of the sinister Squadron comic fans locally that they will.

This is one of those rare instances I expect the spider-man pack to sell at a decent pace because of kids wanting them from the Ultimate Spider-man episodes. Though I would have thought the same about Triton really. The Captain Marvel pack will probably sell first since it appeals to classic fans and modern fans both.

Dang the TRU near me has tons of the first wave peg warming....

Although I hope I can find them here then at TJ Maxx/Marshalls then more bang for my buck.

No worries. LMK if you get any as there's an obvious 'trick' that I overlooked.

Update: just looked for you and doesn't look like there are any available at the moment. Seller is 87Spuds IIRC and EBay shop is Bad Mother Customs.

I just ordered a set. What's the trick?

EDIT: Apparently I bought one of the last sets. :)

LordMudd 07-13-2016 02:29 PM

Picked up a Valkyrie at another 5 Below today, last Marvel figure they had.

CCC.

When it was new I thought it looked cool but was way too expensive for my intentions. However I found this one at Ross for only $5 so it was a much easier pickup as a sorta set piece for my MU display. Between it and the Legends 6" Target 3 pack Ultron I have two big Ultrons to threaten my 4" Marvel world!

OK, best attempt at a 'technical' explanation - background transfer paper is white but the decals are clear between the black lines. Did a test run on Agent 13's shoulder and couldn't work out why I couldn't see the decal. Then it dawned on me. You need to paint the background area you are going to apply the decal to white, silver (or colour of your choice) for it to show up properly. Duh.........................Bad Sithlord!!!!!:o

In mitigation, I've not applied decals to anything for about 10 years so I'm not gonna beat myself up about it!

I don't have much experience with the waterslide decals, so I appreciate the tip. Especially since I plan on putting the SHIELD logo on my Coulson's black vest. I'm really glad you warned me.

Happy to help - other useful tip is to cut them to size before you put them in the water.

What Ultron is that and why is there a Red Skull head on Jean's body in that earlier pic?

He's ready for his next body/power swap I'm figuring on the Phoenix force. Also I figured with comic book kookiness he end up transgendered for this event.

It's the playmation Ultron for some video game thing Disney did (not Infinity I guess?) and he's basicaaly a statue with just swivel shoulders, a jointed neck, and a sorta swivel in the torso. For $5 at Ross it makes for a good background piece.
