So, got home, pulled Batman out, and got exactly what I expected. Not great, but not entirely terrible either. Mine came out with nice tight joints and nothing stuck or broken. About the only things I can complain about is that these are slightly bigger than the older Movie Master figures (which is a bummer, as I had Superman in my hands today and opted not to get him having not realized this...) and the lack of proper accessories (as Batman comes with...nothing. Not even a batarang...) and the lack of ankle pivot (which really hurts his posing options due to the way his legs are angled thanks to the sculpt.)

The eyes on Batman are also a bother. There's a bizarre quality about them. They look alright when looking at the figure in certain lights and angles, and look goofy in others, and no matter what you do, look terrible in photographs. Makes it hard for me to figure out if I wanna actually go ahead and white them out with some paint or just leave em be...

Anyways...a quick reference photo...sorry for the crappy lighting...

Batfleck does fit in a little better though with Marvel Legends though in terms of scale (although you couldn't tell by the fact that I picked MCU Cap of all figures to photograph, which I always felt was just a bit on the small side...)

^ Sweet! The first movie masters were all shorter than most DCUC figs.

Man that Wonder Woman is ugly. Found Supes, both Bats and Arrow at TRU yesterday. Had to pass on them. One Ollie only had a blob for a right hand. No definition at all.

Yes she is but we still need to get her...the series would not be complete without her!!! Lol. The basic (total heroes looking toy line) figure looks way better than this one though.

BTW, where did you get him from that it cost you $10 extra? I got mine from BBTS and he was only $3 more.

Cool to hear you haven't had issues. It falls out a few times during the video and the other one starts falling out by the end of the review. Best way I can explain now after several days of playing with it, is you can snap on in one position but if the arm spins a little it no longer catches and just falls out - the lip basically wears out in spots after continued use. Originally, I thought it might be just mine as well so checked some other reviews and it's being mentioned in others as well. JC for example mentions the same issue in his review.

I'm not sure what the actual suggested retails are on the deluxe figures anymore because it varies so much but my local comic shop has the individual packs at $25.99 and Lantern was at 35.99. I actually picked up several icons on Amazon though because the prices change daily and was able to grab them a little cheaper. For example, I have purchased two Batmen, one at $18.99 and one last week at only $16.99 with the Lantern at $29.99 with Prime free shipping. I did hear BBTS dropped Lantern to $24.99 though since release.

I bet that's the head they sculpted for an unreleased MOS Supe's mother cause it looks exactly like that actress.

Lol, does yours looks just the same? I'd like to see another one in person or another close up pic to compare.

Yeah, I'm going to wait for the mafex versions. Other than finally seeing something new in stores, these were pretty unimpressive. Good for what $20 gets you these days, but still, not for me.

I saw 3 today, all exactly like yours and mine! I read a rumor when the SDCC pics first came out that the head was from an unreleased fig of Supe's mom(don't remember her name).

Cowabunga!!! I was so stoked to stumble on these at Toys R Us today!! I went to get the new BVS Wonder Woman, but when I saw these, my JAW DROPPED!!! I did NOT expect these! When did Mega Bloks get the license from Lego? Where is Donatello in the ORIGINAL TMNT sets ...oh, yeah, there are three lines from what I can tell: Modern, Original 90s, and the children's version (Half Shell Heroes I think).

And, I took the PLUNGE on getting into Pop Vinyls...I guess 50% made them an offer I couldn't refuse! I think I count 18(including the two loose ones I got for $5 each at the Crowmag's toys)
I paid full price for WORF, because I was going to get an extra Riker and Klingon to make him...but then I found him. He didn't have a red dot, and wasn't on sale, but he's totally worth it to have with the rest of the Next Generation crew

My first Batman V Superman figures. Got them from my local Smyths this morning for £9.99 each. They had a full box of the basic figures but no Aqua Man, just several of the Batman variants, one or two of the normal movie Superman and one Wonder Woman. Gotta admit, I do think the Wonder Woman figure does look more like Gal Gadot than the Multiverse one.

Size comparison...

The basic figures are going to be more of a 5', the C&C is right at 6' and the giant figs are 12'.

The 12' figs feel like your basic hollow plastic material. The 5' feels like hard plastic with a soft plastic cape (the total heroes figs have a much better feel that this ones IMO). The 6' figs don't have that typical Mattel DCUC feel, it's more of a harder plastic.

I've been too busy with school and sports.

These last two weeks of no-school have been fun! I made a quick video to show my excitement of this line.

LOL yup! I mentioned the same thing somewhere else on here the other day. I was more impressed by the $10 Batman than the $20 one. I so wanted to like these figures but the sculpt and single joint elbow and knee articulation just don't sit well with me. Do the Arrow and Flash figures have any kind of center body articulation at all? Definitely no ab crunch and I did not see a diaphragm joint either.

I am sure there is some kind of contract preventing it but I would be so happy to have Hasbro make a DC Legends line over what Mattel is putting out.

Actually, it was before then because I preordered him on Dec 1st at $25. Nevertheless, I do agree that the pricing of this line makes no sense to me with retailers. But then, there was one store here in CO that was selling the original Arkham Asylum Harley for $50 the day she came out while the other 3 in the wave were $20.

Best comment ever.

Not really into wonder woman comics but any idea what's written on her sword? Is it a phrase like this hammer or is it like here's a sword for you love mom? Or is it just something new for the movie?

Nope, only the hips rotate.

Lol, but you still don't have one...so sorry. It's time to get rid of your inflatable doll now and go out looking for one, otherwise you'll never find her.

I ran into Aquaman at TRU yesterday, and I must say I was disappoint. Not only did they forget the tattoos on his arms, but he looks more like an actor portraying Pablo Escobar in his final days than he does Jason Mamoa.

He's also the most haole looking Hawaiian I've ever seen...for a guy who spends so much time in the ocean and on the beach, man is he pale. So I'll scream it out loud before some internet focus group gets their panties in a bunch about it..."Whitewashing!"
