Marvel Legends Scale Weapons & Random Items?
I've searched the net but not too familiar with what other stuff I could find to have for my Legends.
I always just used whatever came with my figures but when I found out Thunderbolts Crossbones re-used a gun from the GI Joe Sigma 6 Roadblock I started kicking myself for not buying all those carded Sigma 6 figures I used to see at thrift shops for like $5 a pop. But then again they were giant 8" inch figures so I can see why I passed at the time. Any recommendations? From searching around I found out this stuff isn't perfectly in scale but most of it works: eBay: "1/12 scale weapon" (Not much comes up..and if so, pricey) Ebay: Weapons Search; 6 Inch; Accessories; Lowest Price First (Most of it is meh) McFarlane Military Packs (Too expensive on eBay) DC Universe Classics items (Batarangs, whips, etc) Casting Cave weapons (Prices seem ok but can add up) 6" Scale Weapons WWE/WWF/WCW/TNA wrestling fodder items (Trash cans, ladders, chairs, Grapple gear sets) Neca Gears Of War 7" figure weapons Halo 6" figure weapons (happyeveryday sales on eBay has a lot for cheap) Mattel He-Man/MOTU Classics 7" weapons Diamond Select Marvel Figure weapons/diorama pieces Old McFarlane 5-7" figure weapons/accessories Star Wars Black Series 6" figure stuff Ghostbusters Mattel 6" figure stuff |
Hey Cidman911, I've found that the guns and accessories for the True Heroes Sentinel 1 line of figures (Toys R' Us brand) actually work really well for Marvel Legends figures. They are also not too expensive if you buy them new, even if just for the weapons. I discovered them quite by accident. I ran into someone with some loose accessories at a collector's expo, who mentioned to me that was where they came from...
Here's an example of what they look like...just in case... True Heroes Sentinel 1 Action Figures 4- Pack- Steel/Shadow/Nitro/Patch - Toys R Us - Toys "R" Us http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_140554.jpg and how they work with Marvel Legends figures... http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_140001.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_135748.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_135835.jpg What's more...these are the only weapons that are scaled in a way that they make sense in Crossbone's huge hands. I was so stoked when I found these... On the chinese Halo weapons, buyer beware. I picked one of those cheap 4-pack weapon sets a while back, and while they look nice, they didn't work with my Halo figures, and they don't really work well with ML either because they were a bit oversized. The shotgun worked okay, but the DMR was really tough to get into many of my figures hands, and the sniper rifle was ridiculously large (taller than some figures.) In addition, Jorge's large chain gun had a hand that was a part of the mold, which I had to chop off the handle with an exacto knife, leaving my figures with no real way to properly hold the weapon. |
^ Nice !!!
Yeah, I'll look into those next time I'm in TRU. I wanted a True Heroes Pirate ship for a Nightcrawler/Amazing X-Men set up but it hasn't gone down in price at all ($50!!!) I usually carry a random Lego, Minimate & Marvel Universe figure in my bookbag whenever I go to stores so I can see what matches up with them scale wise...I should start doing this with a Marvel Legend too. Seeing that Crossbones made me excited. I'm finally getting my Thunderbolts one in the mail soon (they sold out of the set when I went to Comic Con on Sunday last year...I was inconsolable) And a friend of mine said he had a ton of old WWF fodder items he's gonna give me. Those items were so fun to play with when I was a kid. Wish this was cheaper :-( http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/128...0/836/944l.png Some 1/12 scale arcade machines are cheaper on eBay but not by much. http://www.ebay.com/sch/bonsai_maste...1&_ipg=&_from= |
Finding 1:12 scale items has NOT been easy. LOL
I did see a few cool things that would work while browsing online at work today. Most dollhouse stuff seems to match up with them size wise. Baseball bats Red bricks Soda cans Beer cans Beer mugs Comic book (Yes a comic book for your comic figures, haha) |

I remembered I had one of these back when I collected Pro Shots and McFarlane sports statues. No clue where I put it so searched for another one...I'm sick. They go for too much.
Its the perfect scale for 6" figures too. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...0/842/hcon.png |
This is a great thread. McFarlane military figures also have great accessories. I think there was even a weapons pack back in the day but I'm not sure. I have an M4 with M203 grenade launcher with killer paint. Also a Barett M82A1. I'll take pics later.

Yeah, the McFarlane military stuff works great for Marvel Legends. As do a few of the old Spawn accessories (especially for guys like Cable who are known for carrying big outlandish guns, but there's some good realistic stuff in the line, too).
There was an old line of Matrix figures back in the day (around the time the movies came out) that came with weapons that work well for ML, too. |

Here's some McFarlane weapons. They're very detailed for something so small.
http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...psqdn1krtl.jpg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...psb7i318tw.jpg Those Matrix guns work well. The MP5Ks are sweet. These Maisto 1:12 bikes are awesome! http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...psptvhwfvl.jpg Here's the M82 from McFarlane I customized with a muzzle break. http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...pshgislmyb.jpg http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...pshv6ngz8w.jpg The Batmobile! http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...psohajtn08.jpg I couldn't find a 1:12 scale 62 Corvette. So we affectionately call this 58, Luanne. Lola's big sister. http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4bqnspit.jpg |
Hey!!!
Is that corvette Maisto? I used to have a viper somewhere, but I think the brand name started with a 'D' or something. I'd search one out if I knew where to start looking |
The vette is a Solido. You can always search 1:12 viper on eBay and see what pops up.

My Shaq Attaq Rookie Of The Year Rim came in.
Not as good as the McFarlane Backboard but it still makes for a fun display. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/128...0/836/zvuh.jpg |
