I...do not think this show is for me.

I don’t think that the show is for anyone haha. I was expecting something similar to the arrowverse but boy was I wrong

I'm actually really digging the trailer. Teen Titans have long been my favourite comics team and while this is a very wild departure from the general light-heartedness surrounding them for decades, I'm excited to see where they go with the series. From what I can make out in the trailer, Grayson is in a very dark place, most likely stemming from problems with Batman, so the tone for him seems fine. Raven has always been a troubled character, so her characterization seems spot-on. Garfield seems a bit too serious, but if I recall, even he went through a dark period while with the Doom Patrol, or shortly thereafter. Can't be easy being a green freak, right?

It looks like the team's genesis will be different, but maybe somehow more natural? Brought together by common turmoil and strife, as opposed to "hey, you're a kid and have powers and I'm a kid and have powers, let's start a team!" Don't get me wrong, that definitely worked in the comics. A place for the sidekicks and youngsters to hang out and train and take on bad guys, as a social outlet for the heroes as much as anything. While it was fun, it never seemed NECESSARY, you know? If you take the same characters and put them through hell, having them find kindred spirits along the way, suddenly the team becomes way more crucial.

I don't know, maybe I'm nuts...

I’ll probably give it a try for sure. I just don’t like the way it seems a bit too dark and I hope the make Starfire look more like Starfire then a person doing a mediocre at best cosplay

So, the streaming service will only be $7.99 a month or $74.99 for a full year? I reckon that's a steal.

Whoa this looks cool, this isn't on CW? Sucks...Hopefully it's actually good and doesn't fizzle out like LOT and get weird like Gotham.

I wouldn't say LoT has fizzled, the last season was fantastic.

I'm slightly more interested after reading Geoff Johns explanation for the tone of the trailer, basically they are all alone and in really bad places and then they come together to form a family. If the tone of show shifts from grittygrimdark to something more interesting fairly quickly it might work,

I don't understand the hate this show is getting. I think it looks badass and seems right up my alley. I'm excited as hell for it and I hope they don't change due to people complaining.

The only thing that truly bothers me is the appearance of Starfire. She looks more like someone cosplaying then a actual big name production. And Robin Killing bad guys isn’t really something he’s done if this was Jason Todd then I’d make perfect sense but Dick Grayson is a completely different character

I disagree, I think Starfire was the only part of the trailer that wasn't completely offputting. She looked perfect.

Lol well you’re completely in the minority man. She Looked like a 1970’s Woman cosplaying and not very well at that. That’s mainly do to the hysterical hair choice and for her skin tone not being completely orange .Also they have her powers all wrong. The basically as saying she’s just a female version of firestorm.

Well that’s better. He still started shooting their asses and Stabbed a man in the neck haha. The only thing that truly was bad in the trailer is “fuck the Batman” and the Cheesy cosplaying Starfire.

The costume is shit to be fair (still better than most of her comic costumes), the hair and skin are fine, much closer to classic Starfire than modern Starfire which is why people are freaking out. There is nothing in the powers we see on display in the trailer that is inconsistent her with her comic powers, she's always been able to project burning energy.

I'm much more concerned about edgelord Robin and emo Raven.

Haha yeah we can agree on the Robin 100% he’s acting more like Jason Todd Robin then dick Grayson. That fuck batman was not in his charcter whatsoever. But on Starfire let’s agree to disagree haha. Her costume like you said is bad I’ll agree on that, but her Skin and Hair style just look cheesy and her effects look like they came right out of the 90’s at best. But the show still could be good hell I’ve only seen 2 mins of footage. I’m definitely gonna give it a try. For Hawk and Dove alone.

But to the Legends of tomorrow statement I thought last season was probably their best season yet. I enjoyed the wackiness and overall fun of it. It’s gotten better each of its season I think.

Liked the trailer a lot. My daughter's comment was "Her name is Starfire, that doesn't mean she shoots fire."

She literally does though. Her starbolts are for all intents and purposes fire and they have been orange and fiery in colour frequently before. People think they should be green because of the cartoon.

Batman breaks people's bones and stuff, I don't really see the problem with it.

Starfire does admittedly look meh, but she looks better than the set photos imo. And I personally loved "fuck Batman". It's awesome to see colorful language come to the Batman universe, and overall I think Robin needs the dark treatment because not enough people take him seriously.

If you look in the dictionary under ‘Hot Mess’, you might just find ‘Titans’, me thinks. It’s kond of been all over the place, to be honest.

Season 2 is pretty good, love the intro of superboy and krypto!!

Been enjoying this show since Season 1 Episode 1.

VERY glad it's nothing like Arrow or Gotham.

Season 2 is coming along quite nicely too.

Alright I gotta say I was wrong about titans. It’s become my 2nd favorite Dctv show behind only the flash. Hope hawk and dove somehow get a spinoff show. I haven’t seen this season so far but have heard it’s great
