Still have the 2 pack of Loomis and original Michael, but sadly the arm fell off of Michael a while back when he fell off the shelf, bit I'm wondering if I can carefully remove the head and make it interchangeable with this one when it releases? Thoughts?

No idea. If I had to gues I would bet the neck joint construction is slightly different, but there haven't been any breakdown pics of this new Michael yet.

Great to see a new NECA Michael Myers figure.

I probably won’t get it after forking out on their old ‘ghost sheet’ version not too long ago.

Very hyped for this figure... I’ve wanted a fully articulated Myers figure for a long time. The accessories are killer, I love the light-up jack o'lantern I saw and enjoyed the movie this weekend, but it makes waiting for this figure even harder.

According to Neca's Twitter, it looks like he's being pushed back to December.

A Jamie Lee Curtis figure? This was...unexpected! But hey, The Thing figures are way too obscure and would never sell, lol.

Too bad NECA couldn't time this (or the Michael Meyers figure) with the release of the movie, or even the Halloween holiday itself. But that's very cool nonetheless.

There's seems to be a big licensing issue with The Thing in general. I was talking to the guys at Chronicle Collectibles, who were supposed to officially unveil their line of The Thing Statue this month, and they said that they ran into some unexpected problems with the license. They're trying to work through them, but it didn't sound promising.

Color me impressed! Based on Randy’s answers to questions concerning additional figures in the Halloween 2018 line I should have figured Laurie Strode was coming, but Randy made it seem as though NECA had only reached out to Jamie Lee Curtis after the movie had become so successful. If the Laurie Strode sculpt is this far along, NECA must have been outing the finishing touches on her back in July at SDCC.

Chances are they’re going to make her an Ultimate figure so now the question is what will she come with? If I had to make a preliminary guess I would say one or two additional head sculpts (one with glasses and one distressed), a shout gun, a pistol, a bloody knife, a burning flare and a few pairs of opened and closed hands.

Heck, since Laurie is definitely coming, I hope NECA is seriously considering an Armory Diorama element that includes Laurie’s vast assortment of guns, ammunition and other Shape killing weapons. Let the speculation begin...

That's cool. Maybe they can then get the rights to do a 78 Laurie and Michael.

Wasn't PCS supposed to do a Macready that they previewed like 18 months ago? I thought that would be the start of some renewed Thing products.

The PCS stuff actually got previewed back in 2015! But the 1/6 scale MacReady was cancelled. they've never given an official update on the 7" scale version (or the American Werewolf 7" Figures). But chances are those are both dead as well.

Yeah,the 7 inch scale one with the American Werewolf figures was the one I was talking about. Thank you, Joe. I though the prototype looked promising.

NECA just posted on Twitter the accessories for Strode. Lever action rifle, Sawed off, Revolver. Look pretty good.
