Since we know there will be a mass retail standard color Geralt, I'm hoping something similar happens with Mandarin Spawn.

Todd stated the red would be a wider release.

I was more hyped for that Batman before I saw these official pics.....

All of these look pretty lousy, with Mandarin Spawn being especially disappointing since that was such a kickass figure back in the day.

These were almost my first preorders... I'm glad I saw the pictures here first.

McFarlane has the worst 'promo' images ever. I've found that in-hand they always look way better than their pics

Yes this version is a variant, the non-exclusive mass retail figure will be in his standard color scheme.

What is going on with Batman's knee in picture 005? The double knee joints are way too high and it looks awkward.

According to description, this Mandarin Spawn doesn't look like the same character than old Mandarin Spawn.

Wonder if Mcfarlane plans to release a comic about it. It would be very cool and would be the reason of the color scheme.

Theyve already milked Mandarin Spawn to death in the past....multiple repaints, reboot version, 12 inch versions, etc. This new figure is a huge step down from any past iterations and is the personification of a half assed job.

How many versions of Mandarin Spawn origin are there?

The are many toy versions, but they all have the same origin story?

It's funny because I loved the design of Mandarin Spawn when it first came out and then it kept coming out to the point that I didn't care anymore.

Yep, I wouldn't pay $5 for any of these. The original Mandarin Spawn is a beautiful figure even though the articulation sucks on it. This one looks much cheaper and the colors aren't anywhere near as good.

Why McFarlane chose a bland color scheme that looks like a cheap variant for Mandarin Spawn instead of using the original colors I'll never understand.

Because it's a variant? And, a figure with the original colour scheme is coming out? Other than that….I have no idea.
