Since we know there will be a mass retail standard color Geralt, I'm hoping something similar happens with Mandarin Spawn.

Todd stated the red would be a wider release.

DarkEyes 10-01-2020 11:18 AM

Pre-ordered Batman and Gerlat!

Black Arbor 10-01-2020 11:23 AM

I was more hyped for that Batman before I saw these official pics.....

deecee4 10-01-2020 11:30 AM

All of these look pretty lousy, with Mandarin Spawn being especially disappointing since that was such a kickass figure back in the day.

mort 10-01-2020 11:49 AM

These were almost my first preorders... I'm glad I saw the pictures here first.

Bo Ttef 10-01-2020 12:05 PM

McFarlane has the worst 'promo' images ever. I've found that in-hand they always look way better than their pics

Thanks for sharing, I totally missed that. I might not even get it since I still have the original but it's nice to know that the original color scheme is being done.

Nice. Hope there's a new Medieval Spawn in the works too.

OriginalFire 10-01-2020 01:39 PM

The Batman figure doesn't look that great

warmachine6 10-01-2020 02:07 PM

I'll be getting the orignal geralt not a fan of that tan colour

Neoblackdragon 10-01-2020 03:15 PM

Not feeling that Batman but........I swear it looks like John Noble.

amoneymoose 10-01-2020 05:11 PM

Is the Geralt some sort of variant? I don't understand the color choices at all, it's all wrong.

Yes this version is a variant, the non-exclusive mass retail figure will be in his standard color scheme.

flansered 10-02-2020 07:45 AM

What is going on with Batman's knee in picture 005? The double knee joints are way too high and it looks awkward.

Dr Kain 10-02-2020 08:47 AM

What, McFarlane release another Batman? My god I never saw that coming.

DarkEyes 10-02-2020 05:19 PM

According to description, this Mandarin Spawn doesn't look like the same character than old Mandarin Spawn.

Wonder if Mcfarlane plans to release a comic about it. It would be very cool and would be the reason of the color scheme.

deecee4 10-02-2020 06:30 PM

Theyve already milked Mandarin Spawn to death in the past....multiple repaints, reboot version, 12 inch versions, etc. This new figure is a huge step down from any past iterations and is the personification of a half assed job.

DarkEyes 10-03-2020 07:32 AM

How many versions of Mandarin Spawn origin are there?

The are many toy versions, but they all have the same origin story?

Dr Kain 10-03-2020 08:31 AM

It's funny because I loved the design of Mandarin Spawn when it first came out and then it kept coming out to the point that I didn't care anymore.

DarkEyes 10-04-2020 03:19 AM

Damn, Gold Label Batman is sold out! Glad I saved mine!

Yep, I wouldn't pay $5 for any of these. The original Mandarin Spawn is a beautiful figure even though the articulation sucks on it. This one looks much cheaper and the colors aren't anywhere near as good.

0reser0 10-07-2020 04:24 AM

Why McFarlane chose a bland color scheme that looks like a cheap variant for Mandarin Spawn instead of using the original colors I'll never understand.

Because it's a variant? And, a figure with the original colour scheme is coming out? Other than that….I have no idea.
