That Scratch though. Great stuff. Hot Spot and Halfcourt next please, this line is at its best when they do the more obscure characters only a Playmates-inspired line can deliver.

Comedian 09-20-2021 12:12 PM

Super7 just gets it. They just totally get it.

Thatannoyingguy 09-20-2021 12:30 PM

Wow. They look wild and fun! Reminds me of the old days of these wild TMNT figures in the 90’s. This is the ultimate action figures.

JerpJerp 09-20-2021 12:57 PM

Holy god!!!!
What has been said in this thread already is everything.
Mikey with the tongue out!!!! Yes! Thank you Super7...this collection is a dream....

OriginalFire 09-20-2021 01:12 PM

The question is will the waves move from 4 figures to 5 from now on, like The Simpsons and Power Rangers? Are the Mousers just an added bonus.

OriginalFire 09-20-2021 01:17 PM

Anybody know what the two wheels are for that come with Ace Duck weapon rack. I don't remember those at all when I was a kid.

ShabbyBlue 09-20-2021 01:29 PM

I was iffy about them delving into the costume variants for the turtles, but this Sewer Surfing Mike looks so good.

IzzyTipsy 09-20-2021 01:47 PM

Don't even know who Scratch is, but that Slash is 100% win and I can absolutely use more Mousers.

Nice to see them making a deep dive into somebody like Scratch, though.

firmpulse 09-20-2021 01:47 PM

These look great! Why does the Mouser pack include Raph's sai? They do not look any different than those included with Raph. Anyone know? I can't figure it out and it's killin me. lol

Jester 09-20-2021 02:42 PM

These are some of the most beautiful toys I've seen in a long time.

EvilMonkeyPope 09-20-2021 03:08 PM

Why don't the Mousers include all four baby turtles? Do they expect everybody to buy two sets at $55 a pop?

This line theoretically sounds like it’s more my cup of tea than NECA’s toon line, but I’m disinterested in them? I guess it’s because I can repaint my original figures, but I never had toys based on the cartoon. Scratch is tempting but not something I need.

Synth 09-20-2021 03:20 PM

Wow these are amazing!
Scratch with Jailbird even! The original already goes for $3k loose nowadays.
Cool to see an extra ball & chain accessory which is very fitting.

Mouser 5-Pack comes out to $11 per Mouser which isn't too bad. Cool to see it come with Sais which appear to fit into the battle damaged Mousers heads.

Ace Duck was always a favorite, interesting to see he comes with large airplane wheels, fun extra since he's a pilot, goggles and pilot head with cap and cigar are great additions as well and will make it difficult to decide how to display him.

Slash the Evil Turtle from Dimension X! Supercool figure, so thrilled to see him in the line! Extra Grenades are a cool addition!

I'm not one that likes to collect the varients, but this Mikey looks totally radical!
Hard to resist. Question is to collect all 1st release varients or just this Mikey (Undercover Don is an awesome Playmates figure too actually)

Dream come true to see this lineup and a 5th figure, gives a lot of hope to see all of the original Playmates designs being re-released by Super7. Hot Spot, Shogun Shaote, Half Court, Mona Lisa, so much potential!

Hopefully Archie comics designs as well down the line like Ninjara, Jagwar, Dreadmon, Armaggon are some of the top tier wants.

thatguy 09-20-2021 03:44 PM

these look so good! slash looks nearly perfect but his teeth are rubbing me the wrong way a little. that scratch is a masterpiece.

Nutimus Prime 09-20-2021 06:56 PM

I collect the NECA Turtles cartoon line because I always wanted a toy of what I saw on screen. But Super 7s Turtles toy line just keeps tempting me lol. Obviously part of it is the nostalgia of having an updated version of a childhood toy.

I'm tempted to grab several mouser sets just to have a diverse army for my cartoon setup.

I initially went the same route, NECA only for Comic, Cartoon, Movie, didn't need Super7 because I have my vintage TMNT figures. But after getting a few Super7 in hand, I'm blown away.
I love that with Super7 we can pre-order at e-tailers. If only they fix their fragile leg pins, they would be even better.
Checking out some of my vintage TMNT figures, I have found several to get plasticizer breakdown already making them sticky to the touch. That made me think about these Super7 versions as well. If they will last me 20-30 years, I would be good getting up there in age then.

It's very difficult to track down the NECA versions, and for me especially after missing out on Cartoon April and Cartoon Casey, I'm not really excited anymore about the NECA releases. at. all. New stuff put on their website is limited now and sells out way too fast. It's frustrating to collect NECA Cartoon TMNT, blink and gone, want them? pay up a ransom at the scalpers. It's making it very frustrating and not fun to collect while the stuff I collect is suppose to be fun. Not to mention the fragile "disposable goods" along with paintrubs, NECA ain't much fun.
That being said, I still attempt to get some cartoon versions at retail which interest me if I get lucky enough to stumble upon them.

OriginalFire 09-21-2021 01:13 AM

Tokka should be coming up soon. He is just a retool of Slash, with a new head.

JPs 09-21-2021 01:34 AM

When will there be a decent price?

Everything looks good on these figures...except the price. I suppose more than $20 makes sense with the number of accessories, but still being $55 or more is much. Not quite even Figuarts quality. When will there be affordable Ninja Turtles? Hasbro's crossover is close as we've gotten in so long.

Seems the way of all toys nowadays. & the retailers & producers don't care that most of their products are being inflated to unbelievable levels. They're stocking supply has declined, making it more likely. Some companies like Four Horsemen only do online sales at a specific time that run out within less than a minute--most in the hands of scalpers.

Looks like the sai can be inserted into the damaged mousers' faces. They should've shown it in the pics.

dukefett 09-21-2021 06:36 AM

I love how inventive they're getting with the weapon racks for figures that never even came with them. Like the added wheels for Ace Duck and the fishing line going around Mike's accessories.

Great looking wave, I'll grab all 5.

ludovicotek 11-12-2021 02:55 PM

Super7 just teased a party wagon for the Ultimates line! :eeek

Probably be $500+.

I wonder how much longer NECA will wait before revealing the cartoon version they've hinted at releasing. I'd like to compare the two and see how much of a price difference there will be
