So the build a figure has to be either Solomon Grundy or Clayface, right? I can't think of any other Arkham characters big enough to justify a BAF

Please let there be a Arkham city poison ivy on the horizon.

There should be some new bits. The head already looks new and perhaps the cape too. The gauntlets and shin armor should also be different since those were tweaked between games.

It could be Mr Freeze. Not every BAF in this line has been that big, Dark Father and Future's End Joker were reasonably tame in size. Also Grundy and Clayface were positively gigantic in Arkham City, they'd have to shrink them down to fit in the existing boxes (to be honest I'd prefer this for Grundy since he was too big for my liking). Megafigs would probably be the better route for those two.

I bet the other characters in this wave are

Catwoman
Ra's Al Ghul
Penguin.

There are gonna be rumored gold label B&W versions of an Arkham City Batman Ra's Catwoman and Penguin so these are probably the regular ones.

Yes, they are. You can see in that photo that they have the raised portion on the gauntlet. That was what made the gauntlets different between games. They were the same exception that added bit.

We sorely need a Poison Ivy... I don't much care for that design, though. Would much prefer something inspired by her comics unitard/tights look (with added vines etc).

Give us a TDK trilogy wave and then we'll talk.

Ah right, they dont also do huge characters so Freeze is an option, also I totally forgot about Asylum/City Bane.

Penguin looks great. Kinda tired of Catwoman, though, although at least this should be a proper one.

But holy hell we're overdue for a Poison Ivy.

I let the DC Direct Arkham figures pass me by and have always regretted it, I love that game series, glad McFarlane is giving me a second chance to (slowly) build up a collection

Poor Ozzie? That ass hat killed Bud and Lou (Harleys hyenas) and then got them stuffed and put on display in his museum.

Ya but ya gotta admit that was pretty funny. ;)

So far the only Catwoman in the line has been the 2022 movie version a few times over, frankly I find it absurd that as Bat-centric as the line has been this will be the first remotely "normal" Catwoman. Regardless of how well this one turns out I'll still be waiting to see a comic figure too.

Ditto on Ivy though.

Yeah the Arkham-verse Penguin is one of the more vile and sadistic versions of the character. The mainstream comics version tends to behave as a "respectable" businessman type who is one of the few villains that Batman can just sometimes talk to, but this version was an outright asshole.

Anyone see the Arkham City Joker(poisoned) on eBay? For some reason he is packed with Ra's sword!
But, I'm thinking Mr. Freeze or Grundy. We just got a Clayface, comic version, but too soon for a slightly different figure.

I think it's meant to be pulled from the scene when Joker (Clayface) is about to kill the downed Batman but Talia intervenes to save Bruce by telling "Joker" something about "you can be our new leader" and gives him her sword. So it should be Talia's sword but my guess is since Ra's is happening they already had his sword made and just used it instead.

It would definitely sell good as Ivy’s Arkham outfit is one of her most popular and memorable designs, hopefully mcfarlane will take advantage of this to finally stop dragging their feet and give us a dang poison ivy already.
