Future Waves Wishlist!!
Well If I had to throw some choices in I would have to say how badly I want MR Mxyzptlk.
Some others I would like to see Apache Chief Build and Connect Brainiac Super Powers Version Samurai Toyman Mr Freeze but in Super Powers Version! Mirror Master Reverse Flash Shot in the Dark Black Vulcaun but I know that is a Hanna Barbera made Super Hero... So tell me yours and what you think..Do you think we will see any of these in the Future? I know I am a Big Super Powers Fan as well as all the Super Friend Cartoons it was a Big part of My Childhood and I am sure yours as well. |
Mine would be JSA themed Golden Age Sandman, Johnny Thunder, Golden Age Flash, Golden Age Mr. Terrific, Vandal Savage, and Earth II Robin. The BAF would be Blockbuster.
|
Black Flash, that's all.
|
Reissues of Harley Quinn and Gentleman Ghost. That's it.
...well, maybe a Killing Joke version of Joker, too. Camera optional. |
I know I'm reaching but a boxed set of Infinity Inc. would be great. How about a Crime Syndicate wave or the Royal Flush Gang?
There's a lot of Batman characters that still need to get the DCUC treatment Huntress, Hush, Jason Todd as The Red Hood, and Red Robin. |

My first thought was Red Robin and my second was Jason Todd Red Hood...Awesome. I would also have to add Royal Flush Gang and Hush in there (with a Jason Todd variant). Additionally I would like to see: BAF Doomsday Red Son Superman Parallax Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan 2-pack :) Connor Kent (Black shirt with red S and jeans) Superboy Prime Mr Freeze (maybe do a crazy ass super powers variant?) Red Arrow Batzarro Bizarro 2-pack Brother Warth Jade (50/50 Modern/Kingdom Come) World of New Krypton Kal-El and General Zod 2-pack Batgirl (Babs or Cane) Granny Goodness Professor Zoom Black Flash |

Also, and I do understand that there are several different estates involved with likeness rights as well as 2 different studios so please no one give me a long winded explanation about this or why we haven't seen the series on DVD yet, but there really ought to be a wave from either Mattel or DC Direct based on the Batman 1966 T.V. series with an exploding shark as the BAF. |
I would love to see more members of Flash's Rogues Gallery in general. Especially Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom. Also -
(Hooded) Green Arrow Isis Elongated Man Huntress (!!!) Red Arrow Stargirl Jay Garrick Flash (Alan Scott is coming out, you have to release this one too) same with Jade since Obsidian is being released Vixen Fire and Ice Terra Granny Goodness Poison Ivy Toyman Livewire The Shade Ra's al Ghul Star Sapphire -are all on my wishlist. Also, how sweet would it be to see an Amalgam Universe line? |

I was just thinking about those comics the other day. I wish they'd revisit that again. |
With the recent confirmation of the roster for DC Universe Classics Wave 19, I figured I wouldn't treadjack that discussion so I'll post my "most wanted" DCUC figs back here, at the risk of creating a zombie thread.
I will go ballistic when DC discontinues the line, but in the meantime hopefully they can crank out as many of these as possible. I offer the following:
Honorable mentions after reading previous posts:
|
Well, aside from every Rainbow Lantern ever?
Standard figures- Hooded Green Arrow Speedy (Mia Dearden) Miss Martian Superboy (black tee) Wondergirl (Cassie Sandsmark) Donna Troy (Black top) Batman Beyond (Using a skinnier base) Modern Guy Gardner Sinestro Corps Sinestro (The new "Height corrected" base) Larfleeze Saint Walker Indigo-1 Flash (Wally West) Poison Ivy Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) Natu Soranik And Anyone who has been a member of the Secret Six, and Scadowpact, who do not exist in toy form. C&C- Brother Warth Atrocitus Mongul Doomsday Twopacks- Ralph and Sue Dibney Bruce Wayne and Alfred Lex Luthor and Mercy Clark Kent and Lois Lane Perry White and Jimmy Olsen Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) and Oracle |
I think it would be neat to have a wave (or a few figures) of comic-ized, Four Horsemen sculpts of primarily animated characters or versions of characters.
Examples: -Grey Ghost - from Batman: TAS. Easily use the Question/Sandman mold. -Blight - from Batman Beyond. It'd give me an excuse to actually get that Terry McGuiness figure. -Cyborg - from the Teen Titans show. This would be difficult, but neat if they pulled it off. I really liked that design. -The Joker - from The Batman. His initial straight-jacket desing would be cool. But also very difficult to translate. Otherwise, the following would be cool. -Atrocitus - want a Red Lantern leader -Doctor Destiny - dunno why really -Hal Jordan Paralax - from before Geoff Johns changed it. -Hush - the DC Direct one ain't too great. And including Vertigo characters would kick ass -Dream - cause Neil Gaiman's The Sandman is awesome -Rorschach - again, easily done |
Jason Todd aka Red Hood from the "Under The Red Hood" animated movie.
Batman Beyond (young thinner Terry) with wings. Both need more accessories! |
Here's some figures I'd like to see not as a whole wave but these should be included somewhere Phantom Stranger, Brother Power the Geek, Ambush Bug, Uncle Sam, Captain Marvel Jr., Dr. Siviana, Dr. Hugo Strange, Lois Lane, Damien Wayne as Robin, Dick Grayson as Batman, Guy Gardner Warrior, Huntress, Arensal/Speedy, Dr. Phosphorus, Captain Carrot and the Zoo crew, Lady Shiva, Professor Zoom, and last but not least all the DC relauch versions of their characters.
|
My ideal wave list would be:
1:Batwoman 2:Poison Ivy 3:Ventriloquist and Scarface 4:Huntress 5:Blight 6:Inque C&C:Charaxes All-Star Re-Releases Batman Beyond 2-Pack: Barbra Gordon and Cassandra Cain |
Something that would be beyond awesome to me, and a way to get some "allstar" reissues out there, while making them different enough to make them not annoying for people who may have them already.
52 twopacks! Make twopacks for some of the duos from one of the more unforgettable comic series of the last several years. The Question and Montoya- Question with a brown trench (Maybe Hatless?), and a great way to get a non-superhero out there, with Montoya. Both Steels (John Henry and Natasha Irons) Booster Gold and Rip Hunter- Booster in his Sponcered costume Isis and Osiris Supernova and Wondergirl |

Come ON Mattel?!? Why all the Wally hate? Seriously, not everyone is a super friends, or superpowers fan. I bet anything most fans would have preferred Wally/Bart as Flash/Kid Flash, than Barry/Wally. I mean, seriously, how hard would it have been to give one of the releases, either the original, or the Allstar Wally's costume markings? Don't even get me started on Donna Troy being put in a costume that's like, 30 years out of date. |
I suppose I can understand (begrudgingly) why DCUC is ramping down.
Going forward we have:
If you include the initial line-up for the possible DCUC Collector's Club, the hit rate goes down even lower. I presume we would still have a chance to get some of the Batman, Inc. figures that I personally want to see in the new relaunched DC line, but this seems like the end of the road for true "Classics." There does not appear to be any remaining chance to see any of the following figures in the DCUC scale/articulation: Elongated Man / Wally West Flash / Donna Troy (modern costume) / Superfriends Mxyzptlk / Emerald Twilight Kyle Rayner / Parallax Hal Jordan / Captain Marvel, Jr. Add to the above list any "classics" costume variants of any of your personal favorite characters from the Golden Age through Infinite Crisis (?) & 52 (?). Color me a sad panda. |

Considering that now all the official DCUC Waves have been announced (1-20) and the first few Infinite Earths Subscription figures have been identified (Atrocitus, Jay Garrick Flash, Starman, Poison Ivy, & sub. exclusive Metron), I wanted to revisit this topic.
The relaunched 6-inch DC series has been said to focus on the more prominent DC characters to a much greater degree than DCUC, so many of the following figures may be a pipe dream. For the ongoing subscription, I offer the following possibilities to best spread the love around to all DCUC collectors:
I'm only a fan of a limited number of the above series/teams, but the sub is the only chance for all of these fan bases to get some cool characters. |
