check out these new figures at:

Freedom Ops Network

Could be wrong, but from a distance these resemble Corps! figures. The vehicle looks interesting, if there are more, and they are proportionate to their realworld counterparts(not necessarily exact 1/18 scale), this line may be good for joefans to collect.

VMF115 01-04-2009 10:02 PM

I agree I think the Joe fans might like this.

Nope not exactly. I've been told they are 4.5 inches which is not 1/18th scale. However maybe the vehicles could work with Joes?

topnotch97 01-04-2009 10:33 PM

sooo... they're out over Target now?

Edit: going to the website, it's like GI Joe meets Club Penguin

VMF115 01-04-2009 10:53 PM

1/18 world as 4.5 in. they'd be about 6' 9"...they might work well in 1/16 as tank riders...

topnotch97 01-04-2009 10:57 PM

just curious... what's the retail on these?

$5.19 are the Forces of Valor figures. Those are 1/18th. So I guess they are $8.99.
I recommend the FOV figures they are quite nice.

Shin Densetsu 01-05-2009 01:35 PM

The only upcoming stuff for this line that is on the freedomops site are an 11.5" SEAL, and some more smaller figures.

DamonJW 01-05-2009 05:59 PM

Bought one yesterday at the Target on Grand Canyon in Las Vegas. It did not scan but was under the 8.99 tag so I got it for $8.99. It is a little pricey, but is compatible size wise with the joes. IMO they are a little more detailed and less cartoonish than the CORPS! figures, but not by much. $8.99 is too much for these figures.

The gun was too big; standard articulation (knees, waist, hips, sholders, elbow, kneck).

These fit in much better with the CORPS! figures than the Joes.

The Target I went to did not have any of the vehicles.

Can you take them out of the box and compare them with 1/18th figures???

Autobot_Goldbug 01-06-2009 05:26 AM

Since they've got the Air Force included I am hoping for some jets. *crosses fingers*

Those are way too expensive! I'm still kicking myself for missing Target.com's sale on the BBi F-16. It was $60.

To anyone who's actually picked any of these up, I got a question.
Does any of the webbing fear or clothing actually come off the figs or is it all molded on?

I'd be interested in out of package comparisons between guns too.

topnotch97 01-07-2009 07:48 PM

they don't look like you can remove the webgear.

heck even the weapons are oversized with respect to the weapons for joes.
