I have defended you guys for years, but you are pushing it with the avengers assemble logo on stuff. Last year when I saw avenger assemble on the 6 inch iron man 2 packaging, I was excited, but then you did not come out with black widow and nick fury. I let that go since you guys might come out with those in 2012. But Captain America and Thor I thought was a definite, but you guys like always bs your way through answers and your customers ask you and it was no different when you were asked about 6 inch thor and captain america. So came the big day in 2011, toyfair saturday afternoon did you deliver? Of course not. You just showed pictures of legends scale thor and captain america movie figures , even though in 2010 you guys said there might be some stuff for 6 inch collectors regarding the two movie lines. I wanted to complete a collection, thats all i wanted. It just seems like you are screwing us over, and you know what Mattel is mopping the floor with you. They have both small scale and larger scale for their movie lines and comic lines and they are making it work. I hate that I will never get movie version of the avengers, now I just have an iron man movie armory I want you guy step it up you have people of out there who hate you because you disregard 6 inch lovers. I understand that the economy is bad, but you lost business especially mine. I want your word and I want you have my trust but I am losing it fast, I just don't your potential customers to be screwed.

Dude, this isn't a Hasbro website. However, if you feel that strongly about your 6" figures just email them directly. It won't effect anything at all, but at least you can speak your mind directly to the source of your nerd rage.

nice... rant... If it wasn't for the movies they would be making more comic oriented stuff and fan selections, but because they released Punisher,Daredevil,Blade,Spiderman 1-4*soon to be, xmen 1-3,wolverine, iron man, hulk and now thor and cap, etc, they are typically making toys to focus on the movie wether it be 3 3/4'', 6'' or 12''. Marvel select will mainly be covering the 6'' scale for us, they will give us ML 2 packs/theme packs etc.., Iron man got the walmart exclusive issue, and there is rumours of a new wave coming,... but to be honest,... there's so many damn ML figures as is, that it's going to cost me a fortune to try and buy/find the original ML and MI, then worry about all the MU stuff that's getting pumped out.. they do what they can.. I just wish they would have better scaling, less repaints and repeat mold reuse.. I'm fine if they make a great mold and use it to fit character in the scale but add an amazing headsculpt,ton of accessories and great paint details... but we all know how hard it is to find the holes in our collection to due retail section, case odds, scalpers, online market etc.. I just need to win the lotto... then I wouldn't give a fuck and spend a week straight on ebay buying everything Muhahaha.

Those 6 inch Thor and Cap figures are going to come out I thought? Since when are they not? Remember we had to wait awhile for the Mark IV with the Tony Stark head to come out. Be patient. You'll get your 6 Inch Avengers! (You better because I know I sure as shit want them too!)

yeh its annoying that we didnt get more stuff in the 6 inch scale, but i dont think they would release every character now before the avengers comes out, or they would have nothing to make next year??? they would have no selling point, well there might be 1 or 2 new characters for them to make, mainly hawkeye, but other than that most of the cast that is in that film has been in previous films, so i understand how they might be holding off from making 6 inch black widow and nick fury until the avengers is out.

i was annoyed that they showed us a 3.75 black widow and then to my knowledge it was never released... same goes for the unmasked tony in that scale.

but i dont fear because they will be releasing them all when the avengers is out.

LOL, I think throughout some of the blind anger and the humor surrounding this thread. Some of this does have merit.

I've been meaning to make a thread asking what is going on with Hasbro. Im a 3 3.4 collector so this is my time to shine, so I got no beef with the ML, 6" market but I totally agree that if we don't hear anything from Hasbro by SDCC then.....thats kinda pathetic.

But concerning the 3 3/4 Hasbro market....it seems odd. The take away two gimmicks (file cards and the Fury website) and don't give us anything in place of either. Also, they said they were going to release stands for series 1 offered through the website. Not to mention they don't really give us timely responses on our Q and As (still waiting for the first one from like 3 monthes ago...)

It seems like they are really all over the map...in a disorganized fashion. I still like Hasbro though and their lines. Definitely the best manufacturer and toylines out right now. I know they don't have to provide us with any of these things, still....I want those stands :(

I definitely agree. The GI Joe set the standard for me, those boyos are accessory rock stars complete with enough weaponry to take down a small country. I think, knowing it isn't as easy with Superheroes, that the options aren't as limited necessarily.

Examples of recent figures and ways to pimp them out:

1) Cable: Lots and lots of weapons. Alt head with Goatee. Alt head with younger self.
2) Apocalypse: Alt En Saba Nur head (from his Origins series). Alt Tyler Dayspring Head (from when he was pretending to be Apoc).
3) Cyclops: Alt head from when he had that funky Apocalypse like head (when Apocalypse was trapped in his head). Alt Age of Apoc head (I know it doesn't go with the outfit but who really cares, then don't use it).
4) Crossbones: Lot and lots of weapons.
5) Captain America (comic series): Alt Steve Rogers head.
6) Mystique: Alt. Movie head. Lots of weapons.
7) Zombie heads/Skrull heads for any figure!

I'll stop here, but the options are endless.

Well, at least this is starting to settle into a normal discussion, but Hasbro does more than just Marvel stuff, so off to AFTGD with you!
