MU Wave 14 (strange variant galore!)
 

Stopped in at target today and felt like a kid on christmas all over again.. it was awesome. This is what was there, but there were 3 spiders, 3 dooms, 3 "variant" stranges, and 1 falcon hidden behind something. I got 1 of each, but my issue is that I have the pre-order coming from bbts. So if I happen to find color strange and skaar in the wild before it ships, these are all up for grabs/trade/whatever.

I think the Dr Strange is under rated. With a flight stand, I think he would look epic.

Went to another target just to check.. but of course they're still loaded like a month ago with winter soldier and iron spideys.. sigh

i spotted a scarlet spider ages ago1 i didnt think it was so early.

I found Skaar Dr. Doom and Falcon. No Scarlet Spider-Man or Dr. Strange. And it was only at 1 wal-mart

Yeah, I'd love to get skaar and colored strange so I could cancel the bbts pre-order..

man I still cant find this wave . went to 2 targets , TRU and a Walmart as well and nada. but I did score Warpath Variant and the cable Variant / none hope.
going on a recond on monday for some more MU ones I'm missing .

I picked up both Scarlet Spider and Falcon from a target in Yuma, Arizona today on my way back from tubing in Salt River.

Those guys were all that was left from this wave by the time I arrived. They had the Ben Foster Goliath/Thor pack...

...which was an easy pass for me.

They Had a Wal-Mart exclusive at Target?

I still see the same crap every god damned day. I went hunting Friday (which for me includes, not joke, 6 cities- 2 TRUs, 12 Wal-Marts, 9 Targets, 3 comic stores, a few other stores) and the newest thing I saw was a Wolv/SS 2 pack. No new joes, no new Marvel, and every Marvel remod for targest has Wave 13. Anyone needs something from there, let me know. We are about to be swimming in them.

Eff Iowa distribution.

Eff Washinton. Went hunting up north and found nothing. I haven't hit Seattle and I haven't hit Bellingham. But everything in between, sucks.

There was more!

The target that had the wave 14 stuff in the pic above also had loads and loads of other new stuff. DC young justice dioramas, singles, 2-packs, the batman arkham city, even the Iron Man 6 inchers! New wwe stuff including some target exclusive championship pack, the new NFL wave.. it was nuts. It was like they ordered EVERYTHING and got it all in one day. However, I only collect MU nowadays, so nothing else caught my eye to pick up. But that young justice Robin diorama was pretty sweet..

But I've now hit up as many stores within my reach after literally, accidentally, stumbling onto what I posted in the pic. Not a single other one has anything new at all. Oh distribution.

Went to a small random ass Wal-Mart in the middle of nowhere and found a Dr. Strange. It was literally the only MU figure they had, he was lying next to some GI Joe guys.

I still have yet to see any of the current wave, besides him.

A colored Strange!? With nothing else around!? That is probably the biggest win ever considering what he goes for right now.. and that I watched them stock a case at Target and it had nothing but 3 "variant" astral Strange's..

I'll take stray wave 14 figures in trade or for cash. If there are any left. My stores are now reduced to being all revision waves. Mind you I think it is great for the line to have 15-16 different figures on the pegs rather than 20 IM and spideys, but I have the 15-16 figures already. lol.

so has anyone figured out which is really the variant of dr strange? is it the colored or astral? cause ive seen the colored version 4 times (even got 1 tucked behind some spidey figs) but no astral.

It's starting to look like the Astral/clear version might be the rarer of the two. There seemed to be an initial blast of the clear version, but from what I'm reading everyone is finding the color version now.

so i shouldnt even worry about the colord one? cause i was just goin to grab him and put him on my wall of fame, but if he's not that rare then i can grab another spider-man classics lizard

Well.. I have an extra colored Strange in package as well, but no astral variants because I seen so many (as my original post/pic showed).. sucks to be me!

Get Lizard, too. He's a little big compared to the accurate classic comic book version but he's perfectly scaled if you compare him to the 1990s Spider-man Animated Series Lizard, which by the way kicked serious ass. "Spider-Blood, Spider-Blood, radioactive Spider-Blood!!!!"

Colored Strange isn't rare at all ($12 on BBTS indicates it's no where near rare--also, check eBay--plenty and cheap), but he is a great figure. I'd recommend Lizard over him for your Wall O Fame, but that's just me. He's not the most articulated, but that really doesn't matter if he's going on a wall anyway.

well sux 4 me anyway. just got home from walmart and the dr strange and lizard i hid are both gone..KKAAHHNNNN!!!

I always check potential hiding places for goods that I am looking for! :cool:
