SPOILERS : Whose Ready for New Dark Avengers?
 

After yesterdays reveal of Osborns New Dark Avengers, I really hope Hasbro brings us these like they did before. how great will these be, especialy the new Spiderman. We already got 2 of them. Maybe 3 Depending on Osborns new look Edit : One could use that Brown and Tan 2 pack Wolverine for Gorgon Wolverine also. Nice

For those who dont know who the others are, Gorgon is a leader of Several former Hand ninjas and has ties to Hydra. Ai Apaec is the Spidergod who was incarcerated with Osborn, who Osborn changed to look more human. June Covington was also incarcerated with Osborn and has toxic control. A

lso since H.A.M.M.E.R. contains AIM and HYDRA, and Madam Viper has been shown alot, one can expect Viper to be his Black Widow and I believe M.O.D.O.K. is a part of this super force.

We now have reason to group our Hand Ninjas, AIM Troopers, and Hydra Troopers into a single great army

It should be mentioned that half of those characters are brand new.

actually, Only Ai Apaec and Toxic Doxie are new, from the Osborn Mini. the others have been around for atleast a few years. Superia is from 91.

But its easy to think that due to the fact that most of them are very obscure compared to Venom and Bullseye

Correct, it took me a minute to figure out who was who and where they came from. Anything Osborn is EPIC.

Whats more, for years a SHIELD agent has been taking DNA samples from Superheros from various events. she took blood from Captain America when he was "Killed", took a hair from Black Goliath during Civil War, ect ect ect.

She went rogue and went to Osborn, giving him the Collective DNA of almost all Superhumans. Osborn filled in the blanks, such as recently taking blood from Wolverine thanks to a mini robot. I think Osborn is going to make a super army.

So we got new Dark Avengers and the Revengers... does anyone else smell a clash? I'd be happy to see Goliath vs Ragnarok!

Yea I'm catching up on Fear Itself. I hear Osborn escapes prison, or doesn't even go back to prison after Osborn... I don't know, must read!

What's with the Wolverine knock offs? Kind of saddened that Marvel would do such a thing. It's basically a remix of Dark Avenger's. They should have made totally new costumes instead...Glad I only usually just follow the X-Titles...

I am glad they added Skaar. No team is complete without a god, and a big angry guy. Dark Avengers had 2 in 1 with Ares, but he dead. Bringing back Ragnarok as their god, and Skaar as their hulk is EPIC. Don't know or care about the rest. I got to look over Osborn vol 1 again to see who is who.

Skaar will probably be the traitor to the group too. He has a habit of working undercover for goals which will mirror how Captain Marvel changed sides on the original Dark Avengers.

I'm not too excited for this overall though. Some of the characters are interesting and fun, but others feel lazy like Gorgon becoming wolverine. I like that the dark avengers are back, but overall I'm getting really kind of burned out on this whole idea with Osborn over and over and over again. For some reason I was just bored with this issue as I read it. A lot of this past wednesdays issues just felt boring and yawn inducing, even borderlining like a chore to read. Point one and ultimate spidey are all that held my interest, and for point one, it was only the nova story that interested me, which also felt like a lot was missing. Battle Scars too which I was excited for felt more like military propaganda and pandering with just too much hype hype hype, and mysterious plot devices to really serve as something worth reading either.

I hope Dark Avengers do something interesting though, and this haze is just fatigue from the FI event.

Do you follow any of the X-Titles? Those look good to me...

Gorgon got brought back a couple of years ago in Scret Warriors and the claws are like Vegs's from Street Fighter, not built in.

Although i dont know why he has claws anyone who doesnt know who the Gorgon is should read up on "Enemy of the State" and "Secret Warriors" two runs i figure any marvel fan would be knowledgeable in since both are awesome...with that said the Gorgon is a true badass!!!! capable of killing wolverine and daken and bulleye and hawkeye and most other skill base heroes and villains...it boggles my mind why this guy doesnt get much love from the action figure community or comic book...IMO i think hes to badass to be led by Norman Osborn READ "SECRET WARRIORS" PEOPLE!!!!!

I would love to have a 6 armed venom looking Spider-Man figure...a lot. Lets see. We have a perfect Wolverine to use as Gorgon, we just got Ragnarok, and we got Skaar and Normy [although I am looking forward to his armour]. 2 we can customize...so...yea. Hasbro? We need this Spider-Man x6.
