Fake or Real??
 

Hey everyone. I came across this today on ebay. Its a Power Man/Iron Fist comic pack with a Luke Cage fig in it. IMO this has to be a doctored comic pack. Any thoughts?

Youve been around here long enough Shawn to realize that this is a repack. This happens all the time at retail stores. The buyer probably didnt want his modern Cage and had an extra to swap out with the classic Luke Cage. End of story and anyone who thinks otherwise is bonkers.

Oh yeah I know this but, the seller is obviously a moron and the person bidding on it is an even bigger moron. I just thought I would put this up so everyone could have a good laugh. :D I should have named this thread WHAT A JOKE!!! instead.

at least the decency to repack some good figures.

Gotcha, I went to Target this past week and I hadnt been there in about a month. Went to the MU racks and all the revision figures had all their accessories taken. About 3Bucky's with no guns, all spidermans without webs, and all iron men without blast effects. Spiderman had been swapped in for Scarlett Spider and a couple of the comic packs had figures swapped out. Basically the entire section was messed with, most ive ever seen. I shouldve taken pics, maybe ill go back this week and see if everything still as is and throw up some pics.

looks like modern luke cage, and the older iron first figure, I thought the new 1 had a colar.

I need a new luke cage. The one with the beanie would be nice.

i dont understand this....they repacked this with figures worth nearly double each what the pack costs. flabbergasting i say.

I'll give them one thing...whoever did the repacking did a good job...

I bet there was a mix up at the factory or something.

Maybe one of the line workers made a mistake and accidently put the wrong Power Man and Iron Fist in the package or something.

Or maybe it is an ultra rare 1 in a million varriant put out by Hasbro.

Either way, whomever wins it is in store for one helluva awesome find.

there is no way thats real,that luke cage figure is too old to just be lying around the factory and be packed in by mistake,thats a fake.

Yeah it also has the wrong Iron Fist in it as well, 100% fake.

Maybe one of the workers smuggled it into the factory by hidding it in their shoe?

The seller clearly has it listed as a variant error, so there must be others like it of which this one is a variation.

The seller clearly states that the item is new and unopened. How could someone have repacked it if it were unopened?

Sorry Omega, I couldn't help myself as I'm trying to start an all accessories collection. I'm thinking about using all of the webs to make a webman. I think he will make the ultimate villain. I also am willing to trade a colored vision for a handful or Iron Man blast beams. I'd trade my whole collection for another crimson dynamo eye beam! Oh wowzers would I.

So this is clearly a fake, but doesn't need my vote obviously.

I am excited to see the Captain Britain variant in the 2 pack! I bet it shows up soon too! *facepalm*
