MOTU Classics - Moss Man
 

It looks like we will finally get to see Moss Man soon!

Here's an update from MattyCollector:
We got in a new sample of Moss Man. Almost there. His fur is not quite the right color, so we're going to hold off until we have a more finished sample on this guy before posting.

I'm really looking forward to this figure primarily because of the 200X head sculpt.

I like how the flocking turned out. The new head is an improvement over Beast Man's.

I think the new head makes him look like a Gorilla!

^ That actually makes sense in a weird way. Of course, all that's going through my head when I look at the pic is this:

"Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear...."

Looks pretty good, considering all the issues they had with the flocking dilemma.

So will he come with two different heads?

Yeah two heads. Many of these classic MoTU have two heads. I still can't believe this is how Mattel sells these though. It's horrible. They all get snapped up by stores/scalpers and sit in ebay purgatory until someone (like me) snaps and buys it for 2-5 times the price.

looks ok but it looks to long

i wonder go that moss material will hold up and if it'll be like the old school version ans peel and flake off

He looks so cuddly, I will love him and pet him an call him George!
...seriously though, he looks great, if not just a tad fluffy.

I'm not crazy about the ears, but I can live with it.

Mine still has his moss, but I've seen plenty where it has worn off. But yes, I hope this version stays together. Other than that concern, I think it looks great.

I agree that the new head makes him look like a primate. I'm glad that Toy Guru has confirmed that Mossy will smell though.... it just wouldn't be the same without that stink, even though it will be a slightly different odour to the 80s toy. I can't wait to take a sharp intake of breath when I open him up.
