I think the brown bit's would look better in white, and I'm not a fan of the fingerless gloves on him. However, I do like the concept and like you said it's a work in progress, I'm sure the final product will look much better. I will say that it looks very clean, as well.

Nice customs everybody. I haven't followed comics in a while, but did Deadpool join FF4 or is "this a what if type" custom?

Im not sure if its just the camera angle in that one shot, but badass custom regardless!!!!!

many of the MU molds have extremely long necks. The main woman mold for example. I've gotten used to cutting them down and reglueing them back together. The problem with having the ball of the neck that deep in the head is it eliminates the head tilt of the ball joint. It turns the joint into a simple swivel.
If you are using a solid soft plastic neck ball, like the ones that come on Starwars figures (and many of the marvel movie lines), you can drill a hole and run a finishing nail through it and into the body. This will help the glue joint from breaking. It doesn't work so well with the necks that crack in half when splitting a torso though. |
Wow is everyone just gonna find stuff wrong with my customs make me want to not male them
|
Dont be like that man,Jim was just giving you some advice regarding altering necks, hes a good guy,and a GREAT customiser,(check out his work in the creative forum here) and im sorry if my comments have offended you,i only pointed out the neck because "in my opinion" it looks a bit long,i still think its an awesome custom and a great idea, far better than another industry standard black/red DP. If your happy with it then f**k what i say,it doesnt matter. But you have to be prepared for peoples opinions/critiques/and advice regarding your work.

Sorry for not giving the good first. I really like the sculpt work you did on your spider hulk. Plus, those web lines are great. The neck thing is Hasbro's fault, not yours. As customizers I look at it as our challenge to improve on their f-ups, and I try to share in shortcuts and techniques I find. Really, I should have started off with the positive comment.
