1st Custom Iron Man (by Ariel Customs)
12 Attachment(s)
This is Ariel, take this as my BIG HELLO! I am eager to learn and all open ears for tips and pointers as I am a humble beginner.
I see that most custom work are based on Marvel (ML, MU, MS), GI Joes, and DC figures. Thus, being here in Asia, I like to take the liberty to utilize Asia based figures like Revoltech, SIC, to add more variety to the mix. Hope to provide some surprises, inspiration with figure designs and articulation range. Hope you all like my work. Also hope the custom figure society welcome girl toy customizer! Love, Peace! Nice! Also where did you get that brick backdrop?
|
Welcome to Toyark, Ariel!!!!
YOu're not our onlt felame customizer- the unparralled talent of Veronica Mars also makes Toyark her home. Now to business- what base figure is that Iron Man? looks really cool and very posable. |
welcome to the ark !
very nice custom , i was about to say "wheres the arc-reactor ?" but then it dawned on me not all suits show it ^_^ |
Hi everyone, thx you guys for the warm welcome, seems like a friendly neighborhood! :)
Alchemist, the brick backdrop came with from Marvel Select new 2012 Movie Spidey. Jason, the base for the figure is a SIC Mask Rider figure, very articulated amongst 4 inch scale figures. Very fun to work with and take photos with cool poses. Warmachine, you are right, the arc-reactor is missing and is intended to be there. I wanted to make sure to make a good one, so you will see it in coming photos. This seems like a fun hobby. I will post my new work here and also on my facebook. (http://www.facebook.com/ArielCustomFigureRealm) feel free to "LIKE" and see updates. My next project is Neo Matrix Reloaded version and Captain America using Revoltech figure. Super Excited! I am still starting out, so if you got any tips for me, I am open ears. :) |

really nice work on him. i look foward to seeing more from u |
Hi WarMachine,
I am happy to share instructions on the customs that I make. As I m likely to ask for tips and help as well. :) However the Iron man gantry was not made by me. It is from one talented custom artist that I admire alot, his name is Toymancustoms. I actually stated in the gallery his name. :) he can be found on figurerealm if u need to seek instructions from him. I posted it because I wanted Asian toys lovers to see the possibility of nice custom work and encourage the hobby in Asia. |
