Microman Fan? I am.
Or I should say, I will be.
I just ordered a handful of Microman/men from the net. I will post pictures as they come in. Maybe even get some comparison photos with some 3 3/4 scale Joes and Marvel Characters. I gots me: Street Fighter - Sakura Street Fighter - Chun-li Lupin the 3rd - Lupin Lupin the 3rd - Fujiko Batman Evangelion - Rei Ayanami (School Uniform) What are the Arkers feeling for the Micromen or Micronauts. Show some pictures! Speak your emotions! Let your self be heard! (Micromen only!) |
Thanks to Microman, I was able to get a Joe scale Casshern movie style figure. Love his poseability and various hands. Hate how easily he comes apart.

This blows, but is not the worst. I have used tricks to get my joints to stick. Super glue on ball joints...paint of ball joints...Green stuff in socket...watered down paint in arm and leg joints. Most of the time it works. DOES ANYBODY HAVE THEIR COLLECTION PICTURES OF THEIR MICROMEN? |
I hear putting nail polish on joints helps make them tighter.

OK My first batch of MM came in: BATMAN and REI AYANAMI
GENERAL IMPRESSIONS: Great articulation. Much more than I think a 3 3/4 scale figure should have. Though the joints in the ankles seem to be the loosest, most of the figure is actually pretty stable. Paint apps are good and have crispness to them. They each come with 5 pairs of hands, YES, 10 MF'ing hands and they are all hinge jointed and made of rubber. BATMAN: Great for my Marvel Universe since DC will most likely never get a perfect Batman figure. He is about as tall as Daredevil and includes a plethora of weapons such as the Bat-o-rang. Worth the $6.88 I spent for this figure. REI AYANAMI: Timid character of Evangelion anime series. I wanted this figure to add to my 3 3/4 scale females. She is a great figure over all but I noticed a few things that really stand out. Her paint job is half finished on her arms, they used a peach skin tone only half way down her arms. The rest of her arms is a molded pale white. Her ankles are quite loose as well. BUT overall she is worth it. If you guys have any questions about the figures I am readily available to answer. |
where did you buy the batman

Wow, being a 3.75 collector, i was also thinking of getting these.. been browsing ebay now.
|
I had alot of these at one point....some of the playsets are pretty cool too.
They used to have a base that looked like a playstation one and opened up with lots of little extras. if you can find them there are 2 tht come with recolored version of the G2 transformers bikes. |
are they really as fragile as they say
|
some where, I had issues with feet and hand falling off. the possiblity is crazy good with these.
The superman and batman series where nice, as was the aliens / predator figures they did |
I've bought the Batman stuff. Haven't opened it yet. I think the Catwoman looks pretty cool.
|
The figures are really not that fragile. The only concern right know that I have with mine is that down the line, like a few months from now, that Batman will become loose.
Right now his joints are as tight as they were when I opened him and that especially good since I do love to pose my figures. Rei is having trouble but once I find my small screwdriver then ? I will tighten her screws on her legs. |
tempting, but i would really hate to pay more for shipping then the actual figure.i am considering it though

Will Deadpool Vs. Batman change your mind?
|
I was able to pick up the Batman/Batgirl set, and while they're cool, something just seemed off to me about the figures. I'm not sure if it was the paint jobs or what. Even though I know they're still lower quality than Microman, I'll stick with the Public Enemies Batman from Mattel as my default.

Must resist temptation to buy batman for $14.88,MUST WAIT 1 WEEK

Microman=Awesome, Have all the bats and Superman sets, Have several from Acroyear,Aliens and predator, Miltiary force ect ect.
On fragility, the only ones I can confirm that with are the Batman Begins series, for whatever reason Takara went with a cheaper plastic and most of them break (and I mean fully break) in the package. Be warry (Note: Batman Begins was for the movie, after the set mentioned above was put out, which is fine as far as fragiltiy. Only have had one issue with that set and it was after I pulled my batman from the two pack too hard and snapped his ankle, beleive me it was my fault on that one. But Bats begins I have had the worst luck with of any Microman Series). |
I've got a few.
Street Fighter Chun-Li Street Fighter Sakura Batman black Batgirl Catwoman Superman Supergirl http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/r.../th_chunli.jpg http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/r...es/th_pe01.jpg I wish they continued with the licensed ones. I would have liked a Cammy from Street Fighter or a Robin. |
