So basically they're copying a toy that has been done to death over the past 30 years & acting like it's something totally new & original that has never ever been seen before. They had to design a Speeder Bike?
Biker Scout hands that look right holding a gun or the handles on a Speeder Bike have never been done before? Really? I get the feeling that these guys are bluffing. They went to school to be designers, that means they probably have dreams of designing new original stuff that they can show off & take credit for. But instead they're not designing anything but simply copying old stuff. I watched the video & got the feeling that they know their job sucks & they're probably not as happy about it as they make it seem. There is no way they can be that enthusiastic over a boring old Speeder Bike. We went into the archives & found pictures that have never been seen before. Dude, it's a Speeder Bike, there's not much to see to begin with. |
Hey, speeder bikes are cool and it's the last good scene in the movie until the final battles finally start up.

Hey All,
I bought one of these speeder bikes today without examining it closely, and the mold of the rider is very poor: the visor is all bent, so it looks as if he did a face plant into the side of a tree or something. I seem to recall someone else commenting that their figure mold had a serious problem. Does anybody know how I can try to straighten the plastic without ruining it? Thanks in advance for any input. I wonder if Hasbro has some sort of customer service contact for these sorts of Quality Control issues... Edit: I looked at others locally and found the same quality control issues, so got my money back. It appears that the figures were being boxed before the plastic was sufficiently hardened, so they became misshapen as they settled in the package. I did contact Hasbro about it, but given that I don't actually own the thing anymore, I don't expect much in the way of response. If you decide to shop for one of these, make sure that the left side of the rider's face isn't squished. Regards |
