Resealing clamshell packaging
Hi
Many apologies if this topic has been posted before, but i've had a good google around and i can't find any guide/method which suits my needs. I've been collecting some pallisades invader zim toys over the past few years and unfortunately (quite how i'm not sure) but one the parts of one of the toys has broken off within the packaging. You can't get these toys anymore as pallisades is now defunct and i'd like to keep the toys within the packaging, my only issue is the packaging is that hermetically sealed plastic blister packaging. The actual toy repair should be straight forward but i'm at a loss as to how to open then reseal the packaging without it looking like poop after. My ideas so far have been: 1. Run a scalpel round the rear of the packaging near the seam and remove the broken item, repair, then reseal packaging using a plastic solvent. (not sure if resealing the packaging using a solvent is possible though :( ) 2. Use a glue syringe and tweezers via 2 access holes above the offending item (my major concern with this is the holes and the glue vapour). 3. Buy another :D (I'm not very rich so i'd like to avoid this) Obviously there are major issues with each method, so if anyones got a better suggestion i would love to hear. Many thanks in advance and apologies for such a long winded opening post. Thanks |
